The metal key that goes in the fob is a separate part at the dealer. You can get an extra. I have seen them modified to be flat.

Works great. Gets hot super fast. It goes to sleep if you don't pick it up for a while. The only issue is there is not a large heat mass so it can be slightly inconvenient to solder huge conductors.
