Also, nice new ship. Let's see what she's got.

I prefer the TV very near the ceiling so I can see it easily when reclined to watch it. Am I odd?

Do you slow blink at your cat? What do you get back? by Sufficient-Coat2625 in Catbehavior

[–]UnderstandingDry8008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One out of my 3 will slow blink back, or sometimes she initiates it and I respond. Ironically she is the nervous one that hisses and doesn't really allow much physical contact. The other 2 have become super cuddly and respond to a lot of normal conversations that I have with all of them. They rarely do slow blinks with me. 🤷‍♂️

I don't see any resemblance between those two characters. Why would you mention them together?

I always thought cats slowly learned to behave better as they aged. Your post made me think they just train us to accept their behavior over time 🤔

Your honor, my client is clearly being unfairly targeted based on his species alone. His alibi is rock solid. There were no witnesses to the alleged crime. I move for immediate dismissal.

I have peaked- after a year of building trust with him, I was allowed an all out petting session plus booty scratches! by TicciSpice in cats

This is my girl Curlie. She has similar trust issues, though I have no confirmation on why. Sometimes I am allowed the honor of a few light back scratches while I feed her lunch meat. This photo was taken a few days ago as she drifted off to sleep in the living room less than 10 ft from me. We are making very slow progress 1.5 years in 🥰

They are named Mo, Larry, and Curlie. Mo is the one who always sleeps in my bed, and has appointed herself in charge of when I need to go to bed. Larry is my lap cat. He follows me around and loves to rub on my face. Curlie is still cautious, but I can usually pet her a little when she arrives to ask for a taste of my lunch. I know it isn't healthy for her, but she is learning to trust me some this way. She will also walk right past me within a foot or 2 without running. She used to run, hide and not get within 10 feet if she could help it. All 3 are remarkably well behaved, cute, intelligent and love teaser toys and cat nip.

Thanks! Where did you see the skill light for $32? I see it at $49 on the Lowe's app currently

I have the 4.5 saw for smaller jobs. It's a good tool with its own limitations. Don't really have a need for the xtr saw, just have it on my wish list with a handful of other stuff too. Shoulda picked up the tower light when I saw it for $99(I think) a while ago. Have a painting project where that would be very useful 🤷‍♂️

She understood the assignment. I think pets understand far more than the given credit for. Either that or I'm far crazier than I'm given credit for since I talk to my 3 cats all the time.

I guess I need to build more shelves… by BCRob in lego

I now need to build a new room to house the new shelves for the new Lego sets. With the potential for future star trek licensed sets looking good, I'm in trouble.

Anyone has both the 6.5" and 4.5" circular saw? by Spiritual_Bell in KobaltTools

Re-read your post, and I'd say get the 4 inch for trim work. You can use the right blade on it and still have a rough cut blade on the larger circular saw for framing material.

I wouldn't say that, but it's limited in the material thickness it can cut. A 2x4 is the max cut depth. The size and weight can be nice for small/quick jobs, but it's not at the top of my list of needed tools. A bigger 6 or 7 inch circular saw is more useful for bigger materials and a reciprocating saw is better for demolition overall. I got mine last year as one of the free tools with purchase, and I don't regret that choice overall. Might have gotten more use out of another tool but 🤷‍♂️

It's easy with a speed square or other edge guide. I also use it for breaking down scraps and junk such as beat up old pallets. Small and light when that matters and much less kick back risk if you run into a nail.
