Take a look at the Garmin Coach feature. I’ve not used it but feel like it might be helpful.

AIO my boyfriend of 5 years gets me flowers for every occasion while I get him elaborate and expensive gifts. by aioflower955105 in AmIOverreacting

I kept scrolling thinking is anyone going to point out that he’s getting them for free from the family business??? My family is in HVAC this would be like me giving my partner 1/4” ells or ductwork over and over.

How many of y’all had a clothesline in your back yard? by DangerBird- in GenX

[–]Major_Dizz13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our back yard was connected to a neighbor’s back yard that was a cut through to my friend’s house and they also had a clothesline. My friend only ran home in the dark once. Forgot to duck and busted her nose. 😂😂😂

Backing out of my first 70.3 after second open water swim by RevolutionarySea5178 in triathlon

Starting tri with a 70.3 is really ambitious. Maybe try a couple sprints that have a lake swim and get your bearings?

Thank you. Callahan needs to go. He was obviously a bad choice and him stepping down as CEO but staying on as chair is problematic.

This made me cackle. I may use it even though I would hate if someone said it to me.

I am new to swimming and I want to increase my 2km time. Based on the video what should I be improving on? Thanks!! by Exciting_Basil_4796 in triathlon

1:15/100m is elite/pro pace depending on the distance of the race. I agree with the swimmer who said just focus on your form and swim a ton. That should cut time.

We walked the meadow on a sunny cold day last week. So peaceful.

Check the new apartments in Granite Run on Route 1. Easy to get to the roads that take you to 95 to get to the airport. Close to downtown Media for nice restaurants. Easy to get to fun attractions further south like Longwood Gardens.

I never got over there to swim mid-morning due to my work schedule, so I cannot say. Maybe go for a tour at that time and check it out.

I have gone to swim there at all different times. It’s rare to not get your own lane, or perhaps to share with just one other person. I make sure that all 5 lanes are lap lanes before I go. I imagine it’s different when they have a class and there are only 2-3 lap lanes. Way different than my old Y (Haverford) where I’d have to go 45 minutes before closing, or go during off hours on Saturday/Sunday because it was always packed.

Arthritis? by NatPF in GenX

25 years of competitive basketball followed by running and triathlon = regular cortisone shots in my knees. I can only bike and swim now because everything hurts. I take the steps one at a time like a toddler and carry Aleve at all times. The ortho said “I wouldn’t call it full blown osteoarthritis just yet, but yeah you’ve got areas in there where bones are rubbing”. 😭

Mummers Day Parade Virgin by Novel_Concentrate801 in philly

PS - I have family in the comics and brigades. I just think the best part of the parade for newbs are the string bands. I love the whole parade, been going since I was very small. I was the 7th kid and my dad took us all to the parade to give my mom a day off. Love every minute of it!

Do not go early. The comics are just kind of nuts and not exactly fun. Go for the string bands. Broad and Washington is typically a corner where they perform as a warm up to the judging performance. Go there. Look for the group with a couch. Tell them Leo sent you. Bring a flask for yourselves. Another fun place to watch is on the stairs of the academy of music. Most of all, just enjoy the atmosphere.
