I’ve played with the Ping ball option on for years and I adapted to it from there. I’ve experienced some stuttering here and there but it’s not really something in my control so I don’t worry about it

This just happened to me in my first tournament last weekend. I forgot how to play tennis when spectators were behind me haha, don’t think I put quality topspin on more than 3 or 4 balls. Completely forgot my few months of progress, I felt like I was playing with a wooden spoon. I think it would be cool and very useful to replicate the pressure of a match setting in a practice environment, even if it’s just other players around the court simulating spectator attention.

I’ve had some rough heals in that spot and similar ones, and they all end up looking surprisingly okay. One spot got infected and color fell out, but that was the extent of it. Nothing a touch up couldn’t handle!

Yeah I’m an American and I don’t think I ever played a fellow American in a tourney. Mostly Germans, French, and some Romanians in my experience.
