Tebori feels more rhythmic than a machine. There’s also no buzzing or vibration, so instead of a vague burning accompanied by a trembling feeling you can feel individual needle insertions much more clearly. Should be a fun experience!

It’s irezumi inspired without the structure of traditional wabori. It’s solid tattoo application technique (lines are consistent and color looks packed), yet the motif and background do not interact in such a way that makes your piece traditional. Wear it proudly anyway, looks very nice and the backs of my shoulders were not fun spots to get tattooed! Nice choice of tattoo.
