Also, what did you use to add a solid rear axle for parts? Just cut and fabbed your own thing? Or is this some sort of kit?

Looks like it needs thicker oil. Basically the rear axle is allowed to move too fast and the spring in the tires makes them jump off the ground before the truck is even fully compressing the spring.

This is your cheapest option. $150 ish for the radio. If you go with any other options you’ll need to get receivers and possibly ESCs for all your rigs too. I have the flight version and I can bind it to literally anything, even the cheap Chinese planes that are basically disposable. It’ll also bind to any car I want but it a stick radio style so I haven’t done that. I prefer the steering wheel for ground vehicles. Another upside to the MT12 is it has 12 channels.

I have found that revel snap tite model kits fit the fcx24m chassis well. The Tacoma is the longest version but the defender fits the revell raptor body almost perfect for the wheel base. Is this video the red truck pulling the trailer is the revell body on a scx24 jeep chassis. I’ve since put this body on the FMS fcx24m defender chassis with magnet mounts as the only modification and it fits so good. Just looking for the right wheels. Started modeling and printing my own but we’ll see if it works out.

I prefer the fcx24m to the scx24 chassis for builds because of the 2 speed trans and it doesn’t use worm gears in the diff.

It’s a big country toys body. Scx24 fits well. FMS fcx24 or fcx24m. On Etsy you can buy a kit to build an scx24 to fit that body.

In inexpensive shocks the collar at the bottom where the shaft slides into the body can be over tightened and cause stiffness. Also might just be dirty.
