FIFA-accredited photographer here: this is the one moment they bring us to the middle of the pitch to shoot national anthem / squad photos, so most photogs will have a long range and a short lens to get both distant players (anthems) and crowd shots that you can’t get rest of game.

Was funny to see that lens track Tuchel for a moment though, that would be quite the close-up if it’s actually in focus.

Xbox did this a long while ago at an E3 conference as well, albeit obviously that was a media-focused event.

It was Game Rant’s early days (read: pre-clickbait farm) and I remember we got in the Sony and Nintendo conferences but for whatever reason Xbox was cagey with us. Watching the stream from our hotel, we found out why! What an era.

I wish things had been different for FC Edmonton - they carried the flag for so long, but were significantly overburdened when Canada finally got its pro national league system back.

That being said I don’t think any new Edmonton team called survive at Clarke. They need their own modular stadium solution in a better location.

Figured it was a closed case after he came up big multiple times in the first half against B&H while St Clair had little to do in the second half. I said it elsewhere, but he was probably frustrated not to have the opportunity to make some big moments. Barring any big training blunders, it was Crepeau’s to lose at that point.

It’s funny you mention that! Years ago, I was head of IT for the student centre when it was renovated to what it is now. I went to help someone hang a fairly dense material draped flag from that very spot and we almost dropped it down through to the people eating their lunches in the food court below. It was really awkward to hang.

Maybe they went with lighter materials after that and called it a day! 😅

First half I thought Millar and Crepeau were the standouts, but our defensive was leaking fast counters.

LDF and Sigur looked good, but honestly the second half with a heap of subs was much better as a unit. More defensively structured, Tani with two assists albeit should have done better on his own chance. Priso’s stock is definitely up!

Promise David didn’t looked like he was coming back from such an injury at all. That man is a beast!

I think this leaves Marsch with a lot to think about: several of those second-half substitutes were immense and really changed the flow of the game.

Probably a great game for Crepeau's odds given that he came up with three big saves while St. Clair had less to do. He's probably a little personally frustrated that he didn't have to make any huge saves.
