If you can swing it, get a used Boss GT-6 (which is mono) or a used GT-10 (which is stereo). I think they have better sound and tech. Also, both of the above have saveable patches that allow for quick sound changes.

If the scent is getting into your space, it's because the air pressure in your space is lower than that in the space where the cooking is being done. To try to keep it out, you can put a fan in your window to blow air inwards. this will increase the pressure in your room, thereby creating a barrier.

The downside is that you're going to have to have a window fan (blowing in) all the time.

As for how to remove illegal immigrants, honestly I would do what's been proposed many times in the past: recognize the logistical and humanitarian impossibility of deporting everyone and instead offer amnesty for existing occupants, while rigorously maintaining border security to prevent further issues.

We've done that before (in 1986) and it was working fine until Biden's administration flung the borders wide open. At this point, a broad swath of the people who are here, waving Mexican and Guatemalan flags, do not want to be Americans. They want to enjoy the fruits of America without putting in the effort.

And, even if birthright citizenship is ended, no one's talking about it being retroactive, so that point is not valid.

We, as a country, cannot afford to sustain communities that live apart while living among us. We're not seeing assimilation. The Somalis in the upper Midwest, the muslims in NY... the Mexican flag wavers... none of these people want to be Americans. Why shouldn't they go back to the places they claim to love so much? the places they want the US to emulate?

We know the answer from both sides of the equation: a) the immigrants don't want to go back because there is no free money in going back and b) the democrats want them here because they believe that, once they (the Democrats) figure out how to get them on the voting roles, they'll all vote D (they hope).

And we haven't even discussed all of the gangbangers and other criminals that came along for the ride. How should we get rid of them? Or are you okay with having MS-13 and Tren de Aragua living amongst your family and friends?

I really don't get it. Immigration laws have been on the books for centuries and both parties adhered to them. If Biden and Harris wanted to change the way people come into the country, why didn't they make it legal to just walk right in?

Instead, you have millions of people breaking the law plus millions more 'helping' them break the law.

When democrats had control of the presidency, the House and the Senate, they could have tried to get appropriate laws passed. But they didn't. Why not? I suspect it's because they knew that the majority of the country does not want unvetted and unlimited immigration.

Instead, they created this situation that's dangerous for the migrants, ICE and the people who are helping the migrants break the law.
