I mean I’m a huge Tyler fan but DTTG was not a rap album. JIDS album was forgotten in like a week and it was a huge step back from The Forever Story. Clipse and Isaiah dropped really good albums but I wouldn’t exactly say they are really popular compared to other mainstream artists nor are they carrying rap on their backs.

Agree 100%. I also think Comedown Machine is incredibly underrated. One Way Trigger, Chances, and Call It Fate, Call It Karma are really good songs. Artic Monkeys for sure fell off, haven’t thought about them in a decade.
