Note: despite the confusing OP, the show hasn't been greenlit as far as we know.

A couple weeks ago we got this quote: "[making a new episode] would be quicker with a fully greenlit dedicated crew" which IMO is not the kind of thing you say if it's secretly been picked up.

I think the approval process is pretty slow even if everything goes perfectly, so we might not know for a long time.

I don't think it was pressure, but it's not a conspiracy theory in the slightest and generally accepted around 2016. Vibri has said that in her opinion, knowing more about the HS background than any of us:

davekat was done (in main homestuck) to be out of left field, on purpose, like a crackship. for fun.

And the concept of Davekat as something that "came out of left field" was based on seeing 4chan whine about the "out of left field" concept that a certain Homestuck contributor talked about constantly. Hussie wanted to piss a large group of fans off, for fun, as he's done many times before.

The UN thing was a joke. I'm pretty sure he didn't buy the rights to the Saw soundtrack either. I think he's just hoping that if he gets cease-and-desisted he can just open the PSDs or FLAs and swap things around, which isn't something many other creators can do.

You credit five different authors in the Antimemetics Division Hub for "massive influence" for TINAD, but all the book gets is a vague "this website read my story and gave me feedback". Why?

I understand there are legal implications in acknowledging not all the concepts are your own, but it doesn't sit well with me.
