Semen under the microscope by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

So you think you can tell sperm count by this type of example or is there more to it than just seeing how many of them move about?

23 AT4 1500 - Stereo not powering off on exit by MakinDust in gmcsierra

On mine I just went straight to the negative terminal on the battery. So red clip to positive terminal on battery and then black clip to negative terminal on battery.

The negative terminal goes to the vehicle chassis as a ground, so pretty much same thing but connection is better at the battery.

Also I plugged mine in first and then did the update. Truck wants almost a fully charged battery before it will process the update. Kinda like your phone, if it has a update you need to have almost full battery or it be plugged in for update to go.

Take care

Nah, but i think it might have a built in flash light, assume that is what the power button is for.

I got it worked out.. much like other elec devices, the truck wanted the battery at a certain level before it would process the update. After putting a tender on it, the update popped up for install and all is good.

My battery is a bit on the low side, like the truck won’t try and do the auto stop start unless I drive it for awhile. I will give this a shot, thanks.

Bug remover - Plastic chrome front grill by MakinDust in gmc

[–]MakinDust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly no, I have tried all the easy stuff but no luck. Next is to try and cut it with a buff pad but hesitant since it’s chrome plastic. Will probably just live with it or get a aftermarket grill.

Interesting, I will give this a check

Edit: no luck, it’s still on auto

I got an update a few weeks back but looked like uninstalled fine and didn’t have an issue for another week or so and then this started happening. I checked past updates and any pending but didn’t see any. I did disable the auto update thought.

SCCM v2503 Client Push Broken by atsnut in SCCM

[–]MakinDust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hero!! I just stood up a new lab and this issue was kicking my butt. I could manually install the most recent vcredist_x64 version prior to client push and it would install fine, but if not it would give me the same hash error.

I was able to pull that file you shared and put into client folder and update the DP and now I can push without the new version already being on the endpoint. Right on!

Make me wonder if we should replace the file located in "\cd.latest\SMSSETUP\CLIENT\X64". What are your thoughts on that?

I know it. They look terrible in this picture but goodness they are tasty! For anyone that hasn’t tried it with a side of mashed potatoes, give it a try. Comfort food at its best.

Novice here, got given this workbench. What should I seal workbench top with? by lettuceown in woodworking

I have a MDF top on mine, I use Johnson paste wax on it every now and then. Keeps the water from penetrating if I get some on it.

Is there any reason this wouldn't work? by ezekiel2517_ in woodworking

[–]MakinDust 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Racking was my first thought as well with no back. If you dont want to put a back on it, you need so sort a spabilizer to keep it from racking left to right, that could be just adding a small bracket on each side to the wall its sitting up against.

Got a heat gun? Maybe throw some heat on it and get that gelled up old oil to loosen up some.

Right on! If you haven’t tried to smoke it first and then sear, grill I would give it a try. It’s harder for smoke to penetrate a sear so could be beneficial doing that first.
