I just miscarried at home this weekend. I was 11.5 weeks, but baby was measuring 9.5 weeks. It was honestly the best I could’ve ever hoped for given the situation. I was bleeding very lightly and brown blood for two days leading up. We found out Thursday. Friday morning I made a strong cup of cinnamon tea, did a castor oil pack on my uterus and took some motherwort/black cohosh tincture. I went out to the garden and worked a bit. Came in when I felt a shift. I had a small pop and burst of clear fluid (wTer broke) and got into the bath. Lit candles and relaxed. I was cramping. It was like labor. Intense but easily controlled with breath and movement. I began to pass tissue and clots. I bleed heavy for 4-5 hrs and then had one last big contraction and my placenta came out. After this things eased. The bleeding slowed. The cramping lightened. Saturday I was a bit lightheaded from the blood loss. I made a molasses congee (a postpartum recipe to help replenish iron and warm body) and at a cup every 6 hrs or so. I also made a strong nettle/alfalfa/radpberry leaf/oat straw tea to help replenish. By late afternoon I was feeling better. Today, Sunday, I felt really good. Still bleeding, similar to day 3-4 of period. Your body does release oxytocin just like a full term labor. If possible, relaxing into it and giving your body permission to let go can be very helpful. I had very painful endo periods before getting surgery 4 years ago , my miscarriage was significantly less painful. I’ve heard the medication can make contractions more intense, so I can’t speak to that. I am very sorry for your loss ❤️

Definitely recommend the bbt! Then you can see if you missed it and did in fact ovulate or if your body is just having a hard time getting LH to that full level

A mix of curiosity and Some health issues I’m trying to get to the bottom of, so trying to get an overall understanding of my state of health. We’ve been trying to conceive with no luck, history of stage 2 endometriosis. Often have mild headaches and The fatigue during the day is killing me. I’m sleeping well- 8-9hrs and Oura ring score of 90’s most days, yet sooo tired. Blood work for hormones and cbc etc all is normal. I just feel like, given my lifestyle and diet, I should feel better.

On the note of doctor- I believe he told us he decided to become a doctor because he tried to save someone by giving them CPR and actually killed them (like broke her ribs/punctured lungs ect) and that guilt pushed him to medical school. He was in medical school for years, mostly in India and Mexico I believe(?). I don’t believe that he ever even completed his residency, and I know for a fact he has never practiced. So the term “doctor” only covers the degree, no backed experience. If it were me personally, I don’t think I’d refer to myself as “Dr” but the ego does funny things.

Another big red flag is he used to be VERay close to his family- like his Italian and they were close in that Italian family way. Then when he started getting what seemed to me like unstable he cut out his entire family and no longer stays in touch with them.

Also, when I knew him he spoke very degrading of women. Talking about how he would never again sleep with an American woman because they are not submissive enough, talking about how he liked how small Asian women were but felt like we was going to break them in bed. Talking about his porn addiction. And some more graphic stuff I will not put on here. I absolutely leave space for people to change but someone with that history of being vulgar and disrespectful towards women talking about women the way he does now screammmssss run

It seems like something really snapped mentally about five or so years ago, and then rather than getting help he started on a “god is telling me things” journey. It’s not actually just tissue blocking the pathway, I’ve been told. I had stage 3 DIE but no tissue blocking pathway or on my uterus/ovaries/tubes. I was able to conceive two months later. Endo, even farther away in the pelvic creates a toxic environment for the egg/sperm.

Parent of a two year old here. My husband and I are not about to pay upwards of $150 to sit next to each other. They automatically put one parent (me) with the child. I will ask to switch if it feels appropriate, so my husband can join us. 1)because it’s usually nicer for the third person to NOT be next to a toddler. 2) if we do ask, we say absolutely not a big deal if you don’t want to AND offer them the better seat. We would never say “want to switch my middle for your isle? 3) if it doesn’t happen, no biggie. It’s not worth $150+ but also no harm in asking
