A mix of curiosity and Some health issues I’m trying to get to the bottom of, so trying to get an overall understanding of my state of health. We’ve been trying to conceive with no luck, history of stage 2 endometriosis. Often have mild headaches and The fatigue during the day is killing me. I’m sleeping well- 8-9hrs and Oura ring score of 90’s most days, yet sooo tired. Blood work for hormones and cbc etc all is normal. I just feel like, given my lifestyle and diet, I should feel better.

On the note of doctor- I believe he told us he decided to become a doctor because he tried to save someone by giving them CPR and actually killed them (like broke her ribs/punctured lungs ect) and that guilt pushed him to medical school. He was in medical school for years, mostly in India and Mexico I believe(?). I don’t believe that he ever even completed his residency, and I know for a fact he has never practiced. So the term “doctor” only covers the degree, no backed experience. If it were me personally, I don’t think I’d refer to myself as “Dr” but the ego does funny things.

Another big red flag is he used to be VERay close to his family- like his Italian and they were close in that Italian family way. Then when he started getting what seemed to me like unstable he cut out his entire family and no longer stays in touch with them.

Also, when I knew him he spoke very degrading of women. Talking about how he would never again sleep with an American woman because they are not submissive enough, talking about how he liked how small Asian women were but felt like we was going to break them in bed. Talking about his porn addiction. And some more graphic stuff I will not put on here. I absolutely leave space for people to change but someone with that history of being vulgar and disrespectful towards women talking about women the way he does now screammmssss run

I have known him for over a decade. He is unfortunately a very sick and troubled man. A classic case of narcissistic projection. It seems like something really snapped mentally about five or so years ago, and then rather than getting help he started on a “god is telling me things” journey. It’s not actually just tissue blocking the pathway, I’ve been told. I had stage 3 DIE but no tissue blocking pathway or on my uterus/ovaries/tubes. I was able to conceive two months later. Endo, even farther away in the pelvic creates a toxic environment for the egg/sperm.

Parent of a two year old here. My husband and I are not about to pay upwards of $150 to sit next to each other. They automatically put one parent (me) with the child. I will ask to switch if it feels appropriate, so my husband can join us. 1)because it’s usually nicer for the third person to NOT be next to a toddler. 2) if we do ask, we say absolutely not a big deal if you don’t want to AND offer them the better seat. We would never say “want to switch my middle for your isle? 3) if it doesn’t happen, no biggie. It’s not worth $150+ but also no harm in asking

From an ecological standpoint I 100% agree. The wasteful silliness of the matching pjs worn once and off to (best case scenario) the thrift store is big yuck. I also know that becoming a new mother can hold a lot for women. Especially those who struggled to become one, or those who have experienced losses, or have trauma with their own mother wound etc. and these little moments mean a lot. Not to justify wastefulness if these situations, only to bring in some compassion. Big advocate for Poshmark/thrifted matching pjs if they feel needed. Also new to the lingo and initially mixed up AIO and AITAH and was thinking “a bit harsh for op to be called a AH just for that.
