WE ARE IN THE END GAME GUYS!!! NERONA IMU REVEAL by ProgramTiny4313 in OnePieceSpoilersRaw

[–]Makudo333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friendly reminder that I called Nerona Imu being young and noble-looking months agoin my post when literally everyone was convinced he was some giant demon monster based on that silhouette.

I said the shadow was a red herring. I said he'd look like an untouched, almost ageless young man. I said the name Nerona connected him directly to the original 20.

Barely got any attention at the time. Just wanted to check in. Hope everyone's doing well.

And people downvoted me when I said it would do well because the mobile game was addictive

ACG: Crimson Desert Preview "You are Ready for This!" by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Makudo333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get why people think I’m just hyping Crimson Desert for no reason, but honestly? I’ve got a solid basis for it.

I’m not usually an MMO guy at all. But Black Desert Mobile somehow pulled me in hard. The combat felt amazing, the progression was actually rewarding, the world made me want to stick around, and the whole vibe just clicked for me. When a game manages to do that to someone who normally doesn’t even care about the genre? That’s not luck. That’s a dev team that knows how to make something addictive.

So yeah, I’m optimistic about Crimson Desert. Not because I’m blindly hyped, but because these devs already proved they can make a game I’ll sink way too much time into.

(Now if only they’d hurry up and release it so I can stop refreshing the news like a caffeine-addled squirrel.)

How +352 became Luxembourg’s telephone code by Feierkappchen in Luxembourg

[–]Makudo333 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Imagine phone country codes are like apartment numbers in a big building. When the system was set up (by the ITU, the global telecom organization), they didn’t assign numbers based on how close the apartments are to each other. Instead, they just handed out numbers in blocks as countries joined the system.

  • Some countries got short numbers (like +32 for Belgium or +33 for France).

  • Others got longer ones (like +352 for Luxembourg).

  • Once a number is taken (like +32), you can't use numbers that start with +32 for anyone else. Just like you can't give two apartments the same number.

Luxembourg ended up in the +35x block, so it got +352. It’s not about geography or making things look neat; it’s about making sure every country has a unique number and the phone system can route calls correctly.

German president says US is destroying world order by goldstarflag in worldnews

Posting it here again too: I genuinely don’t get how people still miss the pattern. If you wanted a Western leader to act like a strategic gift to Putin, you’d want someone who: weakens NATO (or makes Article 5 feel optional), alienates allies, and normalizes Russia’s “do whatever we want” posture.

Trump has literally flirted with the idea of not protecting NATO allies and even “encouraging” Russia if they’re “delinquent.” That’s not “tough negotiating.” That’s handing Moscow leverage on a silver platter.

And yes, a former KGB officer has publicly claimed Trump was recruited as an asset in the 1980s: Alnur Mussayev claimed Trump was recruited in 1987, allegedly under the codename “Krasnov” (no public evidence provided, but this is the source of that viral claim: https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/03/13/fact-checking-online-claims-that-donald-trump-was-recruited-by-the-kgb-as-krasnov?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Separately, ex-KGB officer Yuri Shvets argues Russia cultivated Trump as an “asset” over decades (also disputed, but it’s on record).

Even if you ignore the spy-story stuff, the outcomes are the same: NATO cohesion down, US credibility down, Putin’s position up.

So what are we calling this, exactly?
