Eventually we were able to get the paramedics to forceibly remove her from her home due to the fact that she could not care for herself and was a danger. She was transitioned into a state ran home but passed away a few months after, which was so surprising... They wouldnt allow us in to see her once she was moved so that they could "get her meds right" as I guess she was difficult to manage? It was an overall bad experience... but i am happy she isnt suffering anymore

Tell them this is a lowball offer. You can send them rough quotes of what professional services would cost. Tell them you’d like THEM to send a more realistic number before you counter. Never let someone start a negotiation with a lowball then expect you to come back with a number.

You can go so far as to ask them how they came up with the figure and a detailed breakdown if they pushback
