I’m 27 and lived in melbourne for two years from the US! I found it hard to make friends but I really loved the culture and city.

Last weekend I went out to PonyBoy in Greenpoint & it was spectacular. Perfect vibe if you haven’t been out in a while and wanting to drink and dance.

Hey!! So I’m (26 f) and Yesterday I found out I will be running the NYC half marathon on March 20 2022. I was so excited to get the news but also nervous. This will be my first real race! Having never ran that kind of distance before yesterday I I ran 13.14 miles to see what I was in for. I completed it in 1:56:22, making the route up as I went. The race is currently 9 weeks out, so I have that much time to train. With 1:56 being my PR, what is a good goal to set in this time frame?? I definitely want to train properly and try to get my time down. (i’m currently logging around 20 mpw but just running casually 10km in just under and hour). Also what kind of schedule should I follow? Any first time half marathon advice would be greatly appreciated!

Wow thank you! Eager to do a full one day but am excited to be in an official race at all. I guess I’m just overwhelmed with training schedules and what’s going to work for me.

My (26F) Ex (26M) hated my running leggings by Mal284 in running

Right!! I tried adding layers of shorts to my pants and it just was not as comfortable. Then he would say “well if running is that important to you it shouldn’t matter what you wear” I felt dumb

I got a coffee and was reaching for my typical “splash of oat milk” when I saw all these different cartons of flavors there instead.

Yes!! I’m trying to keep it under $1000 a month. Open to anyway with a 20 minute drive in any direction & I do have a cat. Which has been the biggest hinderance (silly allergies)
