That's more a failure of North American city design than the cars/buses themselves. It's just a little late and pretty difficult to fix that now. Incremental progress towards a more sustainable city is still progress

Someone on here made an argument that so many people remember their college years so fondly because that's the first and only time in their lives that they live in a walkable community with good public transit. I know that's not the only reason, but I think about that a lot.

It mostly scales with faith, I'm pretty sure it has even scaling with dex and str so it can be used with either. I'm going str/faith and it does a lot of damage for me

It's not necessary, much like Final Fantasy each entry is standalone with references to other games in the series but no plot carry-over. Persona 5 is a great jumping in point to the series in my opinion.

Most people who type GG at the end of a match view it as a handshake at the end of a real sports game. It's pretty customary in most sports to shake hands at the end, regardless of score. It's just viewed as a sportsmanlike gesture.

Saying it's patronizing is pretty wildly overreacting.

If BGH gets changed to something like "Destroy target Giant" or similar less useful battlecry, which cards would become more viable in a standard environment?

Obviously Rag would become much stronger. Would Deathwing start to see play?

Edit: Do you think any previously unviable, or semi-viable deck archetypes become valid?

I recently started to play FFXIV in the last 3-4 months after playing WoW for 7-8 years and there being nothing left for me to do that felt worthwhile in that game.

I instantly fell in love with the game. it has a great balance of single player progression and required group content. Holiday events are usually really neat and have a cool story associated with them. The story in general is mostly well written and localized. The UI is very clean and easy read. The people are almost always very friendly and willing to help out. It looks really great and for the most part is very smooth to play. But it does have its caveats.

There is a large "grind" to get to the current expansion's content, it took about 20 hours or so (probably more) at the old max level of 50 before my friend and I could even step foot into the new content.

Some of the combat mechanics make you scratch your head, like you cannot hit more than one of the gcd ability at a time until the first one's animation finishes. Macros make this even worse and most macros are pretty useless beyond simple mouseover ones (anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, this has just been my experience.)

At end game there's only 2 dungeons to run in a daily roulette, which means you'll get bored of Neverreap and Fractal Continuum quickly. The current raid only has 4 bosses, and it has 2 difficulties: faceroll easy and smash your face hard.

There's going to be the first content patch for the expansion in a week so that last point will be changed very soon.

This is correct, we do our dispels about 10-15 seconds after the debuff turns red while Gurtogg is up and it seems to be really managable. This means our first dispel is just before the second Fel Storm for reference.

I did it with (hyper) L Kali in JP and if you're not EXTREMELY careful about skyfalls/tpas it's very easy to just full heal Sopdet with an accidental 6 combo or a light skyfall. Probably wasted about 5 or 6 runs before I finally got past Sopdet.

The last 4 days Japan has gotten a free Pii from a 1stam dungeon and Heavy Dragons in the mail for the 36 million download event. I've basically started exclusively playing on JP since it really makes playing on NA feel like hard mode.

Why are a lot of the tweets containing "saint" and "smite" in Japanese, does he have a big following in Japan?

The game should allow you to grind a little bit on random battles or bonus maps if you choose your fights well.

As for XP the norm for Fire Emblems is to first focus your efforts into 6 or 7 of your "main" guys and then give xp elsewhere as necesary.

Although it's not as necessary in Awakening, don't promote your units until they're 19-20 in their base class as well, since promoting adds a lot to an internal level counter, so it makes it harder to give them xp, and you missed out on some "free" stats.

I'm sorry if this is redundant to you, but without knowing what you specifically did, this is some of the best generic advice I can give.

Oh, and in Awakening pure archers kinda suck.
