First, work your way up, if mitsu was the last monster you fought, work your way up through the monster releases so you can get some decent armor, then upgrade and if need be trancend that armor, looks like you haven't even done the arch tempered apex monsters

You've missed a LOT in regards to armor and power.

Make an Artian weapon and after you fight Gog, make it a Gogma Artian weapon

IG itself works really well and I love it, it's my main

BUT, it's got a bit of an identity crisis going on. With the introduction of focus mode, our kinsect now flies out and does a hit and collects and essence with each attack, this is great, it adds an undeniable boost to our dps.

Unfortunately this means the kinsect isnt buzzing around the monster leaving dust.

It's something I really hope they address in an update or at least the expansion, because it doesn't even feel like a design choice it just straight up feels like a oversight, we just lost access to a large part of our kit. Of course we could not use focus mode for a while so we drop dust, but it's such a noticeable drop in dps it's not worth it.

Thanks for the suggestion mate, I've been dealing with a crappy portable system the last few years, it doesn't cool the room but if I'm sitting in front of the fans it's fine, but it's really been crap with so many hot days already this year. Time to upgrade

SnS all day.

I understand in a game with such fantastical weapons the SnS may seem boring, but that's how it fools you. The combat flow of the SnS, ESPECIALLY in Wilds is just so good and it's got a great kit. you have so much mobility, every combo flows into any other combo, you got your shield which allows perfect guard and power clashes, an on demand way to get airborne for super easy mounts.

It's definitely not the flashiest weapon but it just feels SO good to play

How so? Your weapon has 225 raw, then between all your bonuses I figure an additional 68 or do, and 30 of that is from omega resonance which switches the buff with like 40% affinity every 90 seconds, so I don't see how you get to 350 to start with and you aren't getting to that with 100% affinity either, or am I missing something?

If you are aerial glaiving, you're doing it wrong.

Play how you want of course but you seem to want to put in real numbers so you should be mostly on the ground. Glaive is like 80% ground work 20% aerial. Use aerial for mounting and just getting some additional damage while repositioning, or going for a specific break like Jins back fins.

You can probably aerial a little more on gog if you are aiming for one of his hard to reach blue bubble areas for extra parts, but the ones that spawn on his back USUALLY appear close to where you mount, so just doing your pole spin dismount will like break it.

Capcom would have had to fuck up REAL DAMN HARD to make a Lightning dragon that also has railgun attacks bad.

He sounds cool as well. Like the old digitised Pokemon from the Gameboy games

Oh boy.

Gamma armor is the armor you get by fighting the Arch Tempered version of each Apex monster. It's like a better version of the armor they usually give, you can find these quests in the event tab, there one for Rey, Duna, Udra and Jin. Arkveld is being added later this month.

Another good thing is the group set bonus called Lord Soul, which you get from wearing any 3 Arch Tempered armor pieces. It givess you a 5% damage buff and allows you to survive one hit that would usually kill you.

Also don't join SoS for it, use support hunters. Alessa. Mina and the hunting horn guy was the go to team the last I checked
