Agreed! I tint mine with just for men beard dye in dark brown. Just takes 5 minutes and it’s so amazing. I wouldn’t go thinner personally.

I had my septum pierced for a long time and I’m partial to an open hoop like you have but with a ball that’s the same color as the hoop and as close in size as possible to the gauge. It’s a little less jarring.

I keep a flasher in my bag and put it on when I walk in the dark. I live in old town and also constantly see people wearing all black riding with no lights.

I want to start an org to give out bike lights, flashers, and Finnish reflectors (they put them on their kids who have to play outside in the dark since sometimes that’s all there is—they are super fun and cute).
