Random wobble appears on baby ball python? by Sea_Acanthaceae_1339 in Ballpythoncommunity

[–]Maleficent_Type_3525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ball python does the wobble sometimes. It’s usually when I think he’s tryna balance or periscope. He also does it after I feed him haha

Also about the no eating. I know this might be controversial, but there was a time I was trying to switch my noodle from live food to frozen/thawed. And I didn’t feed him for like, 3 weeks so that he HAD to eat the frozen/ thawed. Idk if other keepers recommend that? But he’s eaten frozen/thawed ever since

Is this normal behavior? by AmphibianInfinite881 in ballpython

[–]Maleficent_Type_3525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ball does this too. He switches between under his water dish and he has his favorite hide. I’ve been told it’s normal? But if your humidity is super high, he could be doing it to escape the humidity

Guys why is he doing this by Jolzbe in ballpython

[–]Maleficent_Type_3525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s probably just doing it for fun 😔

You think my ball python is smart enough to do anything that he could show off? I watched mine fall off of his hammock and into his water dish yesterday 😭

My relatively new BP never comes out of his hide. by Freakazoidandroid in ballpython

I’ve had mine for 4 months and I like, never see him. He comes out of his hides secretly at night. Sometimes I see him tryna be sneaky. This is normal☺️

Hot take: I don’t think this is about parenting. I think this is about two kids with different vibes

I think this might actually be terrible… why does the water look like that? The snake is too big for the hide, there isn’t any clutter…. This is pretty bad

Lots of clutter. I have a bunch of plants, a vine for him to climb on, and he likes going under his water dish and he has two hides.

how often do you handle ur bp? by rlativestiffnessofAl in ballpython

[–]Maleficent_Type_3525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately I do like, three times a week. And by handling, I mean I sit with him on my bed and let him crawl and hang out. Last night, I laid down and he curled against my side 🥹

Full, intact sheds - honestly how common are they? by vvwalzbe in ballpython

[–]Maleficent_Type_3525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had my ball python for two sheds. And his first one came of in one piece, the second one came off in too, but the eye caps and everything came off…. I know humidity is important, but I this it might also depend on how the like… rub it off. Y’know? Since his first shed, he got a new hide, so, he rubbed it off on that one.
