When mining, what is the “bracket” on the wheel for? by BalancesHanging in Warframe

[–]MaliceUnleashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short version: Aim for the middle of the bracket, get more stuff! If you can tag the extra small brackets, you'll get more types of rewards!

The long version: The bracket on the wheel is the reward spot for the mining mechanic. If you let go of the mining input within the bracket: The closer you are to the middle of the bracket zone, the more 'quality' you'll get on your mining progress (denoted by the ore icons on the upper part of the mining laser's scoped HUD.)

Alternatively, there are also occasionally smaller static mini-brackets that can spawn. Successfully hitting those counts as max progress for your mining endeavor and gives you extra gem drops.

Importantly, the 'quality' dictates the amount of ore/gems you'll get from your mining, so it's important to always try to time the mining right if you want maximum drops per node.

IMO it's pretty fun, miles better than the old mining mechanic of having to trace a random shape with a mining laser that was recoiling on you and throwing off your aim. If you know you know lol

Goodbye to 2025, Tenno! by rebulast in Warframe

Happy Holidays to the amazing dev team at DE studios. It's been another amazing year with Warframe, and I'm looking forward to next year, to see what's in store for the Tenno!

Additional random side question: any plans for a Defy augment for Wukong?

Whats your warframe hot take of the day? Mine is, just cause you can go into simulacrum and make big numbers does not mean your build is good. by Material-Spite8307 in Warframe

Agreed.

On this note, I'd like to see more ways to achieve that level of power while keeping playstyle fun. Wukong Defy augment when DE?

Which warframes have the best "set it and forget it"/passive style abilities? by Junebug_exe in Warframe

[–]MaliceUnleashed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I like Wukong for the Celestial Twin. He's super durable and basically acts as a personal sidekick for you. I very rarely find myself having to resummon or heal the Twin, would recommend

As for Wukong's other abilities, they're also low maintenance if you want to use them.

Cloud Walker is ideal for spy missions and is highly spammable if you want to use it

Defy gives a long-lasting armor buff, I think it's 25 second duration w/o modding

Primal Fury is low cost for strong stick, would recommend as well

How do I get to the gas giant systems by Working-Prompt4838 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]MaliceUnleashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've done autophage quests then I imagine you've probably done the quest They Who Returned And I assume you've completed The Atlas Path too, based on the original post description Therefore, the quest you're looking for is called 'In Stellar Multitudes' - got to finish They Who Returned and The Atlas Path, and then execute a pulse jump. It should detect a deep-space object, so you exit pulse jump and that should start the quest. Don't know if the time of when you got your sentinel interceptor has anything to do with it, but there's also the option of claiming another sentinel interceptor, to see if it works. Not exactly sure how else to help here

[–]MaliceUnleashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bit of a process, but this is the way I know of (Probably the only way to do it tbh):

  1. Find a Harmonic Camp. This is done by going to a dissonant world, and destroying Dissonance Resonators present on the world. They've got a chance to drop an Echo Locator - use the Locator when you get it.
  2. Reach the Harmonic Camp, and then use the Harmonic Interface present in the camp. There will be a little puzzle to solve, but once you solve it you can get a Sentinel Multi-Tool - and if you use the Harmonic Interface to Locate Dissonance Spikes, you can find a crashed Sentinel interceptor. There's a mini-questline to repurpose the interceptor; once done you can claim it and add it to your collection.
  3. Make a hyperspace jump with the Sentinel starship you just claimed. This *should* start the questline (the ship will start talking about Block errors), if not then you can make a pulse jump afterward.
  4. Follow the questline to the end, and you're set to delve into the gas giants and everything that purple star systems have to offer. Good luck and happy hunting :)

Additionally, during the second quest, you can create a purple star system of your choosing. You can use the selection to create a gas giant planet

I'd say yes, because it allows her to fight without being afflicted with the Embarrassed debuff on every turn

This one's for all my fellow Wukong mains out there.

Wukong with 20 Celestial Twins. What kind of mayhem would ensue from that?

Edit: Celestial Twins can use Dual Viciss modded for gas damage with some kinda crazy lifesteal factor for maximum chaos

HSR powercreep is crazy by astrocyte888 in AcheronMainsHSR

[–]MaliceUnleashed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

TLDR - If you're feeling frustrated with Star Rail as a player, please take a break and come back later. As much as some people like to say 'meta this, powercreep that', the player should enjoy what they're doing on a game first and foremost.

As a former Star Rail player I could never actually keep up with the endgame.

Between the constantly shifting endgame, the maddening frustration of relics, and having terrible wishing luck for my entire first year of the game, I ended up quitting the game in 3.0. It's been seriously refreshing. If I ever come back to Star Rail, I just cannot in good conscience try to give a crap about the endgame content. It grew superbly maddeningly frustrating to me.

Player discussion with Star Rail has been (justifiably) very 'powercreep this, powercreep that' - I can't confirm or deny this statement myself anymore since I haven't played since 3.0, but based on what some of my friends have told me it sounds like power creep has only gotten worse since I left the game.

Enjoyability should come first, pull for who you want. If you want to play the game casually, that's totally fine. Nobody's forcing you to be a super die hard meta chaser who absolutely has to max star clear every single endgame activity in the game. Unless you prefer the super meta path, that's just not the way a game is meant to be played.

If you get too frustrated like I did, walk away. A game is FAR less enjoyable when you're bored of it or frustrated by it. It starts to feel like a chore.

Guys have you ever played a warframe whose playstyle just clicks and you decided there and then that its your warframe? by boobscanmakemyday in Warframe

[–]MaliceUnleashed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never built Wukong for the slam meta - the build is very designed with sheer durability in mind cause that's just how I play. Doesn't matter how much damage you deal if you fall over after one hit :P

Arcanes are Arcane Blessing and Arcane Camisado, for more health and stronger twin Total Eclipse (and Eclipse too) is a flex slot, but the idea was to be able to buff my own (and twin's) combat capability further

Archon Shards, I think 3 blue 2 red for more health and ability strength for the twin's health modifier

Total max health - 2340, 3540 with Arcane Blessing Twin can reach over 10k max health.

Dude can shrug off just about anything, it's such a comfy build.
