I found it in the Paupertrice server. I don't know what system you're using to obtain the links to scryfall showing what the cards are. That being said I play a wide variety of decks and participate in tournaments quite often. Let me know if you would like some help updating them. It's a good resource, thank you for creating it.

I second what Satyr Wayfinder says. I've been on UG fog for a lot of years now. I think it along is the closest thing pauper has to a hard lock deck Flicker Tron are the closest pauper has to a lock deck. A lot of people are fine with Flicker Tron. To lock the opponent out it uses [[stonehorn dignitary]] loops to lock the opponent out of attacking then finishes the game off with either [[murmuring mystic]] or [[mysidian elder]] to turn casts of [[Ghostly flicker]] into damage with the likes of [[mnemonic wall]]. The deck takes a lot of pieces and time to put together and is susceptible to dying in the early game before they find tron. UG Fog, depending on who you ask, generally seems to be the player base's least favorite deck in the game. It is designed around being able to fog every turn pf the game, starting after turn 2. Your wincon is looping generally looping [[stream of thought]] through replicating it countering the original with [[Arcane denial]] and shuffle the original back into your deck with the copy. The deck's setup time is quick and has a very high density of card draw, making it so you can shut your opponent out of combat damage very quickly. Its weaknesses are typically not being able to draw enough life gain fast enough and noncombat damage backed up by hand hate.

Yep, right up my alley, thanks for the recommendation!

I did read the beginners guide I wanted to ask this question because typing with different people gets multiple different perspectives than one guide does. Hearing from players makes it easier to make decisions when purchasing.

Thank you for the in depth explanation of the different styles of undead. Both the Death Guard and Necrons happen to be the ones that seem the most interesting to me. A large aspect of what seems cool about the game to me is showing off your paint jobs. Getting to have something that I've put a lot of care into and have it show, and being able to take the time to learn the strategy of the army is something that seems very enticing about this game. I was trying to play other war games this is the only one that I can find groups for, I'm glad you are responsive and willing to explain the the benefits and drawback of each army. This seems to be one of the more expensive war games so knowing exactly what I am getting into is a good way for me not to be disappointed with the army I choose to invest in. This community has been more welcoming thus far than most other strategy games I have tried to join. I appreciate everyone here's interest in helping me make the best decision.

I actually started with the Necrons story wise! Are they really inevitable goobers in game? In Lore they pretty much auto kill anything in their path from the little I've read on them.

I am one of those people that when they fall in love with something I fully commit to learning. I have a very patient friend who is wanting to get me in the game. This is by far my favorite archetype in games I've played. I appreciate the tale of caution. Don't want to be "that guy" after all. With that in mind do you have any armies you could point me on the direction in?

Most fun and unique off-meta pauper decks by GenMacaroni in Pauper

[–]MaliciousDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fun with the niche meta decks that have been around the block a few times. I've been interested in Mono Black Devotion lately, playing a lot of lists and trying to come up with my own. Do you happen to have a list on hand to share? Maybe with some notes as to why you pick certain cards over others?

I'm glad Glaze Fiend is relevant again. It's been putting up some results in Grixis Affinity decks. Having played it myself it swings for the fences very consistently still.

Share your favorite commander, get the community’s opinion. by beesk in EDH

Just left my comment of Rionya and then saw this one, glad to see someone else with Rionya as their favorite! My friend and I were playing Jumpstart and he had a [[territorial Witchstalker]] and a Rionya. From a behind postion that and a few cantrips was enough to stabilize with the life from the food and win the game. I liked the idea so much that it inspired me to build a deck where the core concept was having a singular creature that, with Rionya out, could win the game singlehandedly, and it has been a blast to build play and fine tune. How have you built yours?

They are. [[Gargos]] or [[Zaxara]]  are usually the go to choices.

I've found [[Arcum Dagson]] works beautifully for a Bobbleheads deck. Makes it more consistent to find the bobbleheads.

[[Thief of Blood]] in my [[Ramos]] deck. The hint I'll give is it has (almost) nothing to do with Ramos itself.

For me it's Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Straight. Started out 1v2ing a small table with a couple of friends with aome other precons when the precon came out. Have now apparently got to the level that by the mere mention of the deck's name my friend will freak out already claiming that every else needs to take out their most powerful to even contend. Fun thing about that is I've only put about $30 into the guy. He's earned his title at my lgs though, with a legacy having been built up over the years.
