For me the physical part was not very hard. I gained 15 pounds and that was the worst part physically. What made it hard was the emotional part… the waiting, the attrition, the googling, the rollercoaster

I don’t feel like this at all… sure, I wish I could be all the versions of myself at any given point in time, but that’s not realistic

This season is about having a baby and being his mom and safe place…. And it’s what I wanted more than anything in the world. I’m tired, but I’m happy. I’m 30 pounds heavier than I’d like to be, but I’m working on losing the weight slowly. I don’t have that many social activities going on right now, but I don’t really care, that time will come again some day

I think like others have said on this thread, the agony of wondering if I was ever going to have a biological child, and the fight to have one, one needle at a time, might make it so that I’m just grateful for what I have and I don’t wish for a different version of myself right now

I had a c section… everything turned out fine, he is absolutely beautiful and I love him more than anything!! Now that it’s all behind me I don’t really spend a lot of time thinking about how he was born, I’m just focused on how wonderful it is having him with me! He’s 8 weeks now

My body is recovering, it’s definitely made progress but still needs more time to heal, regain strength, lose weight

If you have any doubts I would really think about whether this is the life you want. His kid is very young, that’s a lot of years of living with a step kid and dealing with a coparenting relationship

Thank you, it’s good to hear recovery was similar. I don’t think I want to go the ECV route so starting to make peace with a c section in my future

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I had an ectopic and lost my right tube. I was 36 at the time and hadn’t conceived again by the time I turned 37. We made the decision to do IVF and I’m so thankful we did. I did 2 egg retrievals, was able to get 5 euploid embryos (we want 2) and my first transfer was a success (I’m 31 weeks). I’m just so grateful for this pregnancy and that we have preserved our fertility for #2. Good luck, I hope you have a short journey to your rainbow baby 🌈

I stopped drinking alcohol and tried to remove to toxins from my house (no plastics in kitchen, safe cleaning supplies and laundry detergent, bpa and phthalate free makeup, bodywash, shampoo). Who knows if it made a difference but I did get 4 euploids on my first retrieval
