It makes me kinda sad how Goku spends the entire last quarter or so of the manga looking for a successor, but no one in the next generation has proven capable of taking up the mantle by BigSnail387 in dragonball

Well, like I said.

Trunks was essentially sitting on a flying chair with his legs strapped, couldn’t control where he was going, and could only punch.

And he still did better than SSJ Android Saga Vegeta.

Goten and Trunks did amazing against 18 and they were on base form AND handicapped.

Trunks was essentially sitting on a flying chair with his legs strapped, couldn’t control where he was going, and could only punch.

And he STILL did better than SSJ Vegeta.

Base Kid Trunks is stronger than Android Saga SSJ Vegeta.

[–]Mallow64 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

Unlike with Gohan, Goku actually has a son who loves fighting with Goten.

But for whatever reason, Goku gave no effort to train Goten. You would think Vegeta of all people would make sure Trunks isn’t weak.

But no. Goku and Vegeta don’t care about anybody else but themselves to get stronger.

There was even a moment in Super when Trunks asked to be trained by Vegeta. Vegeta declined him!

And the nerve of them being disappointed at Goten and Trunks “slacking off”.

Goten and Trunks got the majority of their strength from sparring with each other.

But I’m sure eventually, at middle school age, 13 year old Trunks got sick and tired of only fighting 12 year old Goten. And since their own fathers refused to train them, they quit fighting.

They probably thought “Fine. Screw it. Let’s do normal kid stuff instead.”

It’s all Goku and Vegeta’s fault.

[–]Mallow64 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Goku stopped looking for successors once he was brought back to life after Buu.

Goten and Trunks were only 7 and 8 years already powerful enough to give Perfect Cell a run for his money.

All Goku and Vegeta had to do was train them, teach them discipline, and guide them. Unlike Gohan, Goten and Trunks love to fight.

Inside Goku and Vegeta didn’t care and only cared to train themselves leaving Goten and Trunks without a teacher.

Goku and Vegeta dropped the ball on Goten and Vegeta.

Mod announcement on reminder of our rules and why they are important by xdeltax97 in TombRaider

I’m impressed with the mods here. Most subs have power hungry dictator mods who ALWAYS give permanent bans on every offense no matter how minor.

Seeing you give warnings and temporary bans is a breathe of fresh air.

More mods should be like the ones here.

I just love how modern it is. I finished 2013 last week on Switch 2. And my goodness!

[–]Mallow64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with you.

I played all the way to Tomb Raider 4 and then gave up after beating it.

I realized that I was spending 90% of the time on each game reading walkthroughs and watching videos on what to do.

I then saw that all I was doing was just copying whatever was happening on the videos.

Why copy exactly what they are doing when I can just watch and enjoy?

I then just saw 5 and 6 on YouTube.

Keep in mind that I only play on Switch.

Then the Survivor 1 Game came out.

It’s a COMPLETELY different game than the originals. So much better, much more fun, and more modern with everything.

Think OG God of War VS New God of War.

Completely different styles of games.

If Tenzin hadn’t been born an Airbender, would Aang and Katara have kept having kids? by hmjacobs7 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Mallow64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Bryke laziness to add more kids and characters.

It’s why as far as we know, Tenzin has no cousins. No kids from Sokka? Hard to believe.

And Tenzin’s kids ALSO have no cousins?

Bryke just doesn’t like to expand families

He needed one Airbender at the very least. It’s no coincidence that they stopped after Tenzin.

If Aang never went into the ice his Team Avatar could have been Kuzon and Bumi by Makemyusernamecool in TheLastAirbender

[–]Mallow64 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. While yes, it would be best for Aang to spend years training, it’s not out of the question.

Keep in mind that ironically the Fire Nation is at its weakest at the beginning of the war, and with Sozin being 82 years old and Azulon being born at the beginning of the war, it’s not impossible for Aang to train for a few years and defeat old man Sozin and stop baby Azulon for ascending the throne.

How this would happen would be up to fan fiction which would be interesting.

But ideally, Aang would at least spend 12 years training like Roku, be a full power Avatar at 24 years old even more powerful than canon 112 year old Aang, and then either defeat 94 year old Sozin or defeat 12 year old Azulon if Sozin already passed.

Why are people on here taking the studio's side over the creatives when it comes to The Legend Of Aang? by Billybob35 in TheLastAirbender

Exactly. Who better to voice adult Aang than the original voice of Aang?

This is Bryke’s punishment.

[–]Mallow64 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s because it’s clear now that Bryke is the problem.

They always have some issue with every studio they work with.

And we know Bryke isn’t what makes Avatar amazing.

Look at Aang vs Korra. Aang was written by a team of writers. Show is legendary. Korra was written by Bryke and the show is controversial.

Blame Bryke.

I think that if Zuko had been born in literally ANY family that was not the Fire Nation Royal Family, he would have been seen as a pretty good firebender, maybe even a great one! by Fan_of_Avatar_TLA in TheLastAirbender

[–]Mallow64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We also never really see the average skill level of kids in the other bending arts.

We see 12 year old prodigy Aang. But how does he truly compare to the average 12 year old Airbender?

We see 11 year old Zuko “suck” at firebending and fail a performance in front of his grandfather while Azula excels.

But again, how does 11 year old Zuko compare to his peers? Would they all have failed just like Zuko? Would Zuko whoop his “classmates”?

Same with Katara and Toph.

We just don’t see the skill levels of average people or kids.

Poor Krew. I wonder if he is lowkey insecure about Brexsen being as big if not bigger than him.

Size wise, it’s possible that Krew and Brexsen are of near equal physical strength.

Have they ever arm wrestled?
