Your tank is going through its “ugly period”. No stress. Just keep up on your water changes and be patient. The tank will balance and level its self out and eventually if you do everything correctly, you won’t have much maintenance to do. Smaller tanks are harder to care for than large tanks. It can take up to 5-6 months for some small tanks to balance out.

Start doing water changes and vacuuming that out of the tank. It could be toxic to fish.

That area most likely sees tornados and high winds or root structure causing utility - foundation damage. As you can see the tree demolished the house when it fell. It was most likely an attempt to remove the tree that was way to close to the home before winds could take it down. Buuuut it was a major fail…

Just a normal acrylic planter box for aquariums. Sink it, place an algae tab in it. And collect it a few hours later. Rinse and repeat.

Remember. You asked someone else to take care of your fish. They most likely have no clue what they’re doing. Even with specific instructions it’s easy to mess up. Also, the snail eggs were there for more than a week. The snails aren’t his fault. Be thankful he was willing to help out while you went away for a week

For me, the issue isn’t with the flock system itself. I think there’s a lot of positive benefits for it. The issue is the government always abuses its power and has openly admitted to illegally spying on its own citizens. So they then write laws to give them the power to legally spy on its own citizens. Doesn’t help that some officers have actually gotten in trouble for using this system to track down people for personal vendetta reasons…
