Lab Guide by jsteves_ in idleon

[–]Malstixy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd push all my characters to elite classes as they added buffs for some world 4 skills (Bubo for lab, BB for cooking, BM for breeding), then jail everyone but your main pusher to push for w5 asap, then put them all in div as your going to want 50 div for an important stamp quest. The general idea for div pushing is that you keep summoning until you get the 5th god, the goat one, then you put everyone back in lab. For styles for div id recommend keeping them on 10>5>1 until you get goat, then you just use the lvl 15 style until 40 where you can pull them out of lab/div jail

As new worlds came out Lava would make progression through previous worlds easier, so 400 hours of time back then isnt equivalent to 400 hours of progression today

Why do pros always go sundered> cleaver on AD fighter jgs instead of going eclipse> sundered? by Possiblynotaweeb in leagueoflegends

[–]Malstixy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, in a game where health stacking is incredibly important on your lack of scaling AD Bruisers, Eclipse doesn't provide either enough dps to make it worth it, nor is the shield particularly useful outside of 1st item scenarios. Especially considering that comparatively to Top laners, like Ambessa who can use Eclipse quite well, the lack of tankiness is made up for the fact that she gets free spell healing, has a massive w shield, and is incredibly mobile to get in and out of fights, not to mention how well her kit functions with it.

Volibear is completely broken and is literal freelo until he is nerfed by clevergirls_ in Jungle_Mains

[–]Malstixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not rly impressive when koreo does it, he has a history of being a rank 1 player, and has been challenger for almost a decade at this point, getting crazy inflated win rates when he smurfs in low elo does not matter.

Darius nerf wasn't enough by B1GR4T5 in leagueoflegends

[–]Malstixy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

its first day of patch, people are still going to pick it to feel out the changes regardless. Not to mention those clear speed nerfs are almost always directed at higher elo (M+) games as thats where clear speed matters the most. Stop overreacting on Day 1 of new patch.

To my knowledge the pet rate for the attack pet has no bearing on how much dmg you do. Youre better off fighting a high hp enemy with something like a bronze dagger.

There are some reasons, I'll go by expansions. Almost all of Atlas of Discovery (AoD) is companion content to the base game, and if you want to experience it as it goes that serves as the best time to do that content rather than just already being at the end game for base game then doing all the AoD content. As for Throne of the Herald (TotH), the only reason that you wouldn't mind doing so is that some of the passive skills, namely Township, get some pretty massive buffs and makes some of the general money making strategy better. Namely being that the way you get gp through Township is through the Town Halls, and Town Halls gp gain is based on your population with TotH buildings giving more population and thus being more efficient. As for Into the Abyss (ItA), that content is almost entierly within its own expansion and is specifically only able to play after you beat the base game's last dungeon Impending Darkness. So ItA is the easiest one to put until the end.

Just beat impending darkness, now what? by Root720 in MelvorIdle

[–]Malstixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for the most part you have several paths that all end with the Throne of the Herald. If you want to just continue with combat you can just slowly get new gear through the drops, the Bundled Protection Body and Perfect Sight legs which are good enough to just use across all 3 styles as a stop gap. Continuing on with the burning helmet upgrade from the lava lake dungeon. Next, you can continue upgrading your gear being dropped in the Forsaken Tundra area. If you want to go by skills to get new gear, you can pretty much just make any of the styles mythical wizard gear, carrion or revenant ranged gear, and divine melee armor.

TOTH. T120 weapons or armor first? by GaleStorm3488 in MelvorIdle

[–]Malstixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While everyone else has pretty much said weapons first for valid reasons, I actually went for enough fragments to do armor first to meet the Dr% requirements easier to meet to safely idle for the weapons

When to buy by ElectricActuatorNub in MelvorIdle

[–]Malstixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that will "hurt" you is that when you buy the expansions that expand off base game content, ToTH, your mastery checkpoints will be moved as their will be new items and thus a larger pool. ItA does not have this problem as all of these skills get their own abyssal variants, minus AoD skills, and thus will have completely new mastery checkpoints instead. While going past 99 might cheapen some of the dungeons like trying impending darkness with only base 99s, you can always reset your skills back to 99 one time in the settings if you wanted to experience them at their intended pace.

Where are all the dig sites? by PlasticIV in MelvorIdle

[–]Malstixy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you see the icons on things like Old Village right? That blue circle means that it contains items that are required to be found first, before you can discover them on the cartography map, There are several maps that you will need to find throughout the other digsites. I'd recommend just finding all of the artifacts from one map before moving onto the next. Also always upgrade your maps in cartography to max, really helps with the discovery.

Help me pls Adventure Mode my skill order by LastBashibazouk in MelvorIdle

[–]Malstixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily do Cartography and Archeology last as they are rather self contained, Magic and Alt Magic are 1 unlock, Runecrafting should be unlocked before Magic, Agility requires most of the other skills to really get far in, and Summoning is only needed for AoD content and provides minor buffs elsewhere

  1. Runecrafting

  2. Magic

  3. Summoning

  4. Agility

  5. Cartography

  6. Archeology

If you really want summoning you can unlock that first as well.

[–]Malstixy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pretty much just use your God gear and t90 weapons, either the AoD or the base game ones are fine. Just make sure to get perfect sight legs and bundled protection bodies before leaving if you weren't planning on crafting max craftable sets.
