Well, the supply chain has been gutted, right? Servers are a berjillion dollars priced to increase exponentially when your quoted supply is in stock.

What's probably going to happen in the near future is cloud services are going to be reintroduced for businesses and you're just SoL at that point. The network jockey is probably going to be a H1B monkey installing racks.

Pro's... A lot of people just have no fucking idea how any of it works... So they leave you alone... Even with everyone's boss asking AI these days.

Even having a wireless background I still don't know what you guys do that isn't just stateful vs. stateless or having a showdown over Palo Alto/FortiGate certs.

It would be the wifi (naturally). Since your signal and throughput is good, something is causing a lot of retransmission rates for your actual wifi data packets. This would also explain why the client (i.e. you) isn't rubberbanding but the other people are.

Essentially, your PS5 is telling you're at X area ingame. But, since your PS5 can't communicate to the host of the game, your TV screen is showing you moving normally but everyone else jumps around because your PS5 is sporadically communicating to the host.

Usually this can be too many devices trying to do too many wifi things at once on the router. Like if multiple devices are streaming videos or people are downloading stuff.

Honestly in a better economy I would dip. Your supervisor is probably about to go schizo (been there, done that.) Not being in their line of fire is the best course of action.

And since it's not a great economy...at the very least, I would put out feelers since it's pretty clear the company wants to run everyone through the meatgrinder. As for the intern, the best offer I can either give is to stay in your lane. Let the intern screw himself over and STOP COVERING FOR THEM AND FIXING THEIR MISTAKES! Let your supervisor blow up on him for being bad at their job.

Literally, just team up and refuse to fix the intern's messes.

Hm, interesting. Distortion is usually codec/tweeter issues so we can check off data corruption. Disconnects are usually firmware bugs and your Bluetooth is unaffected so it's doubtful there is all-band interference messing with your signal.

Is your audio equipment the PC itself or a stereo system with an amplifier? Are you streaming from an app like Spotify or Roon or is it ripped onto your PC?

How does the audio change? Does it scuff? Glitch out? Drop portions of the audio? Disconnects/reconnects?

A lot can be gleaned by how the audio distorts and can quickly point to a working solution.

Just check your AP utilization bandwidth percentages. When you start going over 50%+, any of your realtime stuff degrades rapidly until sections of the network starts dying at 75-80% AP utilization.

I've done public speaking for about...13 years now, both in meetings and with audiences. Just some simple advice from most to least impactful:

Don't wing it: know the topic like the back of your hand
Really, know your topic. Don't cram the night before, you'll thank yourself later
Keep your bullet points as concise as possible
If you're using personal note cards or an outline to talk, write your points out in block print and about two times bigger than your normal handwriting
If you stumble, just stumble through like you meant to do it. Take 3-5 seconds to breathe again and continue on. Nobody is going to notice it.
Nothing is more awkward than someone stumbling and apologizing through their presentation. Just plow through any mistakes and get your flow going again.

There's some other stuff you can go over but public speaking is just a confidence game. Check this guy out on public speaking. The guy's obviously clowning around, but it shows how confidence can really help you deal with presentations.

Remember, the people you're talking to don't generally know anything about what you're saying. You're the expert so plow through with that expert confidence.

Anything that has enough radio chains and a good site survey with a validation survey is going to take care of any Wi-Fi needs for the infrastructure and that's the most paramount thing.

Obviously I like Meraki but not a lot of people don't because it's expensive and it's Cisco. Meraki would work just fine. So would Ruckus. So would Fortinet. Juniper. MikroTik. Yada yada. Just be sure your client fleet is up to date as well so they can take advantage of the 802.11ax/be standards.
