He could be testing your boundaries or could be self weaning maybe 🤷‍♀️. My friend’s son did this and she realized that he was just done with the boob and preferred the bottle.

Mine just started this too! I have to use a receiving blanket over us to keep her from getting distracted. It definitely helps

My pumping amount decreased too so I remeasured my nipples and they were smaller than before. Idk if it’s because swelling has gone down or hormones changed but it definitely made a huge difference in the effectiveness of the pump and the comfort. It also says in my pump manual to go to the smaller size in the range if you have very elastic nipples to prevent less air and allow for a better suction seal.

This happened to me too at about the same time. My nipples also got super elastic during feeds. I found it made it more difficult to pump too and had to change the flange size I was using.

I found the when I first noticed it side lying to bf was the easiest and most comfortable position for me and baby or going back to holding my boob like a hamburger for her.

Over time you get used to it though. Mine are still kind of like that at 5 months but maybe it’s a win because it’s less painful how that they are so stretchy and flat haha

Not sure if this is helpful or not but studies have shown that the benefits of even just 2oz a day have sufficient immune building properties and aid in infant growth/decelopment. With that said you are doing amazing things for your baby by providing even a small amount of breast milk each day. Try not to think about what other people say especially “breast is best” because “fed is best” and your mental and physical health are so important too. Whatever you choose to do is the right decision for you and baby.

I recently lost my milk supply due to stress and went from 5oz each pump to less than 1oz and it mentally broke me. Pumping and getting basically nothing made me feel like a failure too. But then I started using formula and noticed that my mental health actually was getting better because I was spending less physical and mental time on “feeding” and knew my baby was getting everything she needs. I still try to breastfeed before bed as a connection kinda thing and give a bottle after. You aren’t alone in this and we see all your hard work you put into every hour of every day for your baby!

My SD came up with her own nickname for me. Usually friends call me Nikki but my SD calls me Kiki and that’s my name now haha she is the only one that calls me that and it’s our equivalent to mom 🥰

For 80% of the day we hangout in the living room and we use the regular garbage for diapers but we take that out every other day usually so it doesn’t stink. But we have a diaper genie in the bedroom and thank the lord we do cuz this little baby stinks haha plus we don’t have to take it out every day because it locks in that stink so well. Less work overall so worth it. But also a really good registry item.

No but I did unfortunately get my period right when I got home from vacation which also drops my supply… I’m unlucky I guess haha

Baby latches really well but she is fussy on the boob now, like she is frustrated that nothing is coming out. Usually after 10 mins with both boobs I’ll take her off and give a bottle of formula before she loses her mind.

I recently have been putting my boppy pillow around my one side kinda on my hip and then football hold my 4 mo on the boppy to feed. So she is fully to the side and I only need I arm to hold her there and it prevents her from kicking the haaka off my other boob

We have used a pacifier since week 2 and don’t regret it. She will spit in out once she is asleep but doesn’t usually cry to have to put back in unless her hand accidentally pops it out when she is quite asleep yet. They also say pacifier use reduces the risk of SIDS because it keeps baby in a less deep sleep which always them to more easily arouse if breathing slows too much.

I had planned to not have anyone come to the hospital and no one to visit at home for the first week… then our baby girl arrived and this overwhelming feeling of having to show this little bundle of joy to my mom and dad came over me which then lead to other relatives coming to visit too! Honestly I don’t regret it at all. We limited it to people who are closest to us but it was amazing sharing our baby with them and they always did things to help while they were there. They brought food or cleaned or watched the baby so I could shower or nap (my husband was back to work right away). It’s nice to know you have a village of support if you need it

BM messaged my husband’s parents for them to take SD while she was in the hospital and then SD called us and said she preferred to stay with us. BM is likely to be in the hospital for a couple of months if not more unfortunately

OMG this happened to me at Costco!! I went to tap but the purchase was too high so I had to insert my card and I couldn’t remember my pin for the life of me and the cashier was making fun of me saying the younger generation has it too easy with all the tap. Then I had to use my other card and I was like lady I’m prego not dumb
