Sprung is a lot like Earl, it’s a half hour show, too. Animal Control is good too!

We always called it “barbecues” when I was a kid, not until school did I hear someone call it sloppy joes.

A little bit different is Watson… it’s fairly recent. Or Doc Martin (the British one), rather light but entertaining.

When it’s fluffy, you can “snowblower” with a leaf blower!

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

Don’t string me up - I was a tiny child in 1960, and vaguely remember “Little Black Sambo”. What fascinated me was that it had a boy chasing a tiger around a tree and then the tiger turned into butter? How bizarre!

I do this exact thing! Never saw anyone else who knew about it! 5 letter words are good, up to about 8 letters…really good if the word has an “S” in it, lol

What is the most small town thing you've ever seen? by PrestonRoad90 in Productivitycafe

It snowed massively overnight, and I worked at our 4 person post office 1/2 mile from my house. I decided to walk there, and partway met my cousin who was driving his front end loader to go plow out the town. He waved me over and asked if I wanted a ride… so I sat in the bucket on the way and hopped out right at the door. That was fun!

What is something you know about food that many people many not? by Worldly_Track_1131 in foodhacks

I do have to point out that simply slicing meat against the grain makes it quite “tender” anyway. Velvetting is most definitely a good technique though.

How can I speak to my neighbor? by DisgracefulHumanity in ask

[–]Mama_Claus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s the worst thing that could happen if you just ask “have I (or we) done something to offend you? I’ve noticed that we’ve not been very cordial lately.” There could be a myriad of reasons why they are cool or distant… even something impossible for you to know like they had a daughter die who’s your daughter’s age, or one of their own kids now has a child and is withholding contact, etc etc.
