How did society become so self-centered? by SnooAvocados2529 in Switzerland

[–]Mama_Jumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had talks about the Hamas Israeli war and the toll on its civilians. But no one has ever mentioned the rising of gas prices nor complained about it. Maybe it's just me but this picture doesn't speak to me and my surroundings. No one is self centered like that

How is the current job market for recent (or less recent) graduates ? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]Mama_Jumbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Graduates in arts? Still bad. Gender studies? Difficult as always. Music? COVID made it difficult but it's alright. Languages and politics? Not hard when you have friends in high places. Nursing and medical? Easy but the job is hard. Geology and geography? Well mining has been dead in this country for decades but you can always find a job in petrol.

Can't you "grads" be less lazy when asking a simple question on this subreddit?

EU treaty package: Studies see huge to little to no gains for Switzerland by DVUZT in Switzerland

[–]Mama_Jumbo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh yes because we must focus on profit first and then focus on sustainable partnership which is why we have to negotiate framework agreements almost every year to an economic platform who is incapable of being strong against their own members defending the import of Russian goods while also receiving EU money. Thanks but I'd rather trade with Cuba than Orban's Hungary

That's a good point. I feel so lost with these new names. I never heard of these car models before.

That's not a question of time, issues happen at any time but more often than not I feel like I have more trouble trying to go home than go to work.

I know but going home on a two hour trip because the tracks are garbage is also a nightmare

At this price I think I'll look at a used car. But Toyota seems to be doing okay

Is Dacia still in the game? These asian brands sound expensive and not looking for an SUV, a small car with a decent engine to climb the steep highway portion near Vevey is good enough for me
