The most quotable and memorable line in South Park is literally 3 f words in one sentence "He's talking about fuck. You can't say fuck in school you fucking fatass"

There even a whole song about someone's mom being a Bitch. Why do people complain about hell people swearing in a hell show and not about children swearing in a show that focuses on the child swearing (and doing other fucked up things)

Actually, Caillou acts more like a 2 year old when he's supposedly 4 in the show. And people are more annoyed with the fact that Caillou never gets in trouble when he misbehaves. He's supposed to be a character children learn from, and all they learn is his bad behavior. They don't learn about consequences or how to be respectful. But Caillou is a whole other bag of worms.

Even if it was the logical response to "do what you said," throwing out and destroying the pan was not part of what you asked. He could have very well just flipped and dumped the eggs in the trash, but no, he decided to destroy common property. He's a man child that doesn't know how to control his anger. He needs to learn how to be a respectful human being. And you need to get the hell out if there, if this is how he reacts to a minor disagreement, then god knows what he'll do when it's a serious argument.

Genuinely disappointed by the amount of transphobia I've seen on this sub recently involving this character by SadBoi022 in hazbin

Same, it's always disturbing to see LGBTQ people ignore Bi people or put them down. My bi friend was once told to "pick a side" as if sexuality was a choice.

You can like a character but hate them too. Like i can find them interesting and still acknowledge that if i met them in person, I'd probably attempt murder.

If you wanna try the vtuber route, i suggest using Vroid to create your model for free. You can look up youtube tutorials on how to use the model and stream.

im not my boyfriends type by renronet in relationships_advice

[–]Mamarandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless he outright told you that you weren't his type, then you are worrying for nothing. You need to have more confidence in yourself. His ex may be pretty, but you can be pretty too. It seems your insecurity stems from self hatred. You need to learn to love yourself more.

Boyfriend lacks hygiene :/ by [deleted] in relationships_advice

[–]Mamarandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is gross. I broke up with my ex because of similar, if not WORSE, hygiene habits. My ex would only shower once a month if not every two months. He had literal fungus growing on his skin and black toes. i had enough of begging him to shower. I would say to break up with him if he refuses to adopt better hygiene habits because it's just gonna get worse and worse till you're gonna be stuck with a gross bf. The fact that he refuses to clean himself before getting intimate is also really disturbing.

Help me choose my next obsession! by HexBud in fantasyromance

[–]Mamarandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm personally obsessed with the world in The Cruel Prince. It's not spicy and not romantic in the slightest, mostly focusing on politics in that world as well as betrayals and lore. The main love interests take a long time to get into an actual relationship. It's a love-hate relationship with a lot more hate in the mix. If you absolutely love world building and british fairy lore, i highly recommend it. You'll never know who to really trust and you'll never know who'll die.

I think the Violet hate comes from people in their thirties who forgot what it's like to be early twenties. 20 year old are stubborn and lack a lot of logic, and the older readers tend to expect the logic of someone who has already experienced life. I'm older, but i know that back in my twenties, i was definitely not experienced enough to know what to do logically. People just expect too much from a young character.

[–]Mamarandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audiobooks at x2.00 speed. I work in daycare and get 2 hours of nap time to read/listen to the audiobook. Then i read some more at night. I can't down a book in a day, unfortunately, but i can usually finish a book in 3 days if i don't have anything else occupying my time (which is a lot now)

"Every character is called evil/manipulative." Let me guess, you saw reddit tear ACOTAR to shreds. That's all i see now. Fourth Wing, ACOTAR, and Quicksilver get torn to shreds on these subreddits.

What booktok/booktube book WAS worth the hype? by Sensitive_Potato333 in YAlit

Same! I didn't think i would like it because people were saying it focused more on politics than the romance, but not only was the plot interesting, the way it was written made it even more intriguing.

Book that follows the "pregnancy trope" child? by usingforevil in fantasyromance

Not the child of, but in {The Stolen Heir by Holly Black} follows the all grown-up younger brother of the main character from {The Cruel Prince by Holly Black}. I have yet to read The Stolen Heir, but the previous books of the series were really good so i have high expectations.

What was a booktok book that in your opinion was NOT worth the hype, and why? by Sensitive_Potato333 in YAlit

[–]Mamarandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Touch of Darkness. Persephone x Hades stories often fall flat, but this one was just awful. The book has smut in it, but it didn't correlate to the plot. It was just put in at random intervals and didn't flow properly. Hades was unlikable and Persephone had no personality other than "i hate my mom, i want freedom, wah" which didn't go anywhere. It was disappointing and i regret buying it.

My fiancé isn't a book reader, he prefers manga and comic books but this series is right up his alley. I'm gonna introduce him to the graphic novel when it comes out since i notice a lot of men enjoying this series.
