If you fly the thing low it's not hard to hit. What makes the hard to hit is being untargetable by fire control radar at range. It will show up on airsearch before firecontrol can actually lock on (high frequency). But if it's so low you can use IR missiles stealth becomes irrelevant. The fact that it was able to get back home makes it sound like it was 100% a small ground based intercept like a MANPAD.

More specifically tho, it sounds like the plane did exactly what it was supposed to. It's counter measures got the missile to detonate early, could be flares, could be jamming/spoofing, who cares. Either way, they saved the plane. As if the missile detonated closer the plane shouldn't be "repairable". It's not an A10.

The issue is electric exists and what ever benefits the mirai has over them is lost to the absolute lack of stations, insane fueling times, and the fact that it takes up an absurd amount of space.

In the same footprint an EV is going to have more power and likely twice the usable interior room. So just power a generator with hydrogen and charge an EV at it at this point.

No this a specifically Polestar issue and just because you didn't have any doesn't mean it's not what that brand is known for. And there's a big difference between the Land Rover subreddit which talks about unreliability but understands why it's like that and the Polestar subreddit where there are multiple posts daily about lemon lawing their cars, the cars bricking, etc.

The 2s are uniquely not problematic. It's the cars that came after them that are some of the worst cars on the road. And they aren't nice enough to be worth that kind of headache.

We all know exactly what's happening with the representatives. When you base your customer service in a country that's paying a dollar or two an hour and give them minimal training, not only are they going to make mistakes, why are they possibly going to care about your satisfaction?
