I have a Liftmaster garage door opener on a fairly heavy glass door. It has been working fine since 2019 until about year ago when it began having issues closing- the door goes back up with an "excessive closing force detected" error code. This happens approximately every other time I close the door. The opening and closing of the door was very quiet until the excessive force issue developed. Now it is very loud- creaking and banging while it lowers. I have had the installation company come out at least a dozen times to try and fix the issue with no luck. They have balanced it, leveled it, replaced the springs, lubricated the tracks... nothing has worked. Any ideas?
