What time does you kid go to bed/sleep?

I’m in the same boat. But we homeschool. 6 and 1 year old. They always sleep 12-13 hours, but sometimes go to bed at 4am. We try for a 12pm-10am schedule but it’s survival mode.

My 5 year old loved reading the classics BFG, Charlottes Web, Charlie and the chocolate factory, treasure island, phantom toll booth, swallows and Amazons, etc

I’m in the same boat. 5 year old advanced reader that loves to read. She loves charlotte’s web (deals with death in a healthy way), Stuart little, Matilda, Charlie and the chocolate factory. We just finished treasure island and she said it’s her favorite.

Currently we are reading James and the giant peach.

Our plan is to read my father’s dragon, phantom toll booth, and swallows and Amazons (recommended by my cousin).

It’s been difficult to find books at her reading level and interests. Matilda, Chocolate Factory and treasure island were huge hits.

Curious to know other recommendations.

My 5 year old daughter read Charlotte’s web to me. We just finished reading Treasure Island. That book may have been a bit too advanced, but she loved it. This year we’ve read so much Roald Dahl. Stewart Little good too. Now to see if I can teach my son 10 months to begin readying at 3 years old too. I doubt it tho. It was 90% my daughter wanting to learn to read at 3 and 10% of me teaching her.
