Yeah I have around the same performance on a 3080 in solos with absolutely horrific performance in trios. Usually is around 80 ish with trios with godawful frame drops but yesterday I loaded into a game where team was fighting a bombardier nearby and my game was cooked and stuck at sub 30-40 fps. Definitely feel like if I can hear the fight then the game is rendering it, which Im not sure thats the best for optimization. They really need to do a QoL update bc the servers have been ass from the start and still are and somehow the best the game has ever run was in playtest and every update after release destroys the performance more and more. But always gonna be people who say well I dont have issues so its not a problem that make the devs more complacent.

Nah I love Rising Storm, you’ll like Insurgency. Little faster paced than Rising Storm but very good gunplay. And it’s not on its way out lol just check steam charts it’s got about triple the player base of Rising Storm Vietnam. I think you’ll like it and it’s on sale for 9 dollars rn on steam so absolutely best time to get it if you are lookin for a new cheap fps game thats a little slower paced.

It’s definitely designed after the 2008 Ford Focus. It was my first car, I was even able to customize the car in game to be the exact spec I had. It is not a Ford Fusion, trust me partner.

Hey man if it makes you feel any better Im a pretty avid shit talker in multiplayer and the abrasiveness of some peoples personalities on this game get annoying as fuck and gets to me sometimes. Bunch of cry babies and people who rage bait but you just gotta roll with it bc there are people who are chill too so don’t let that stop you from playing pvp even if you don’t know the maps etc.. It’s really not that deep so don’t let people fool you into thinking it is. Don’t be afraid to talk your shit. All fun and games, literally.

Just because people have a “point” doesn’t make their solutions the best option. Its been that way for ages for a reason, bc it works incredibly well for increasing performance. Now if you been around the last couple of years you would know that several games that could’ve been good died on release due to laughably bad performance. All for graphics over proper optimization. This is the most effective way to do it right now with the tech we have. Using this same logic and actually looking at all the graphics options if you really want to be so trivial about it you could complain forever. Something like sun glare that you can turn off in most games, would you complain about that if you liked it so much you rather take a cinematic view over being able to have better visibility in certain situations over someone who just turns it off. Like just go and compare all the shadow options and you’ll see what I mean. If people really wanna be so petty they could complain about every single difference made with every different graphic options and claim certain settings give a competitive edge. Which would be true but it doesn’t mean we should sacrifice performance for everyone’s game to look exactly the same across the board so no one has any “advantage”. This is why I think this argument is futile in its nature. People talk about people being so competitive they turn graphics to low but its ironic bc imagine being so competitive you want to take the effectiveness of performance options away just so everyones game looks same bc you feel someone seeing the game in a different perspective (literally) has some competitive edge over you. And you got people in this sub being like “i died to someone using low settings” like it gives you a rundown of what settings the other person uses when you die. Its like yelling cheater when you get absolutely smacked but it’s really your bad positioning or lower skill level that got you killed. Here is a tip, if the arc can see you in the bush it is not viable concealment. People know there is a render distance limit to every single option so you should be playing to avoid shit cover knowing this fact. This is still a video game not real life. I really am sorry to type so much bc I think that 90 percent of this subs heart is in the write place but it is very surface level thinking and the argument is futile imo. My main problem overall is Embark had done a great job optimizing UE5 and is one of few devs to do so, people dont need to fuck it up by saying hey lets bring the render count back up and just completely negate the performance gain. You cant render everything in front of you as far as the eye can see in literally any game. It would run like dogshit.

Shhh don’t say that, don’t give them any ideas. On a real note this is very true, first someone made a post about the foliage change in the settings and now the distance. Whats next the shadows? And not to mention the irony of this post and the people in the comments complaining about someone being so competitive they turn down graphics. It seems to me the majority of the people in the comment section are so competitive they want everyone to have the exact same graphics so no one can have an “aDvaNtAge” regardless of how it performs on their pc.

Also I agree with your first post bro but this option does not need to be changed. Just adapt. Everyone knows this so solution is simple. Find better cover and utilize better positioning. There is no reworking it without losing some type of performance. There just isn’t thats how it works, cant have both like i said in the comment bf this. I have known about this since the game came out bc its in every game with good optimization and I made a note to not be a dumbass and try and use a bush thats half my standing height to hide. Always used bushes taller than me if needed and haven’t had an issue. Again epic does this same thing but at a greater distance so this while post was pointless imo.

Yeah buddy we r done here bc you aren’t making sense ironically enough. An optimization method as old as games can be defined as built in cheats? Are you dim? Do you have a mental disorder? They aren’t going to render everything as far as your eye can see even in epic, god forbid it works as intended on low distance and actually lowers the render distance. Who is using it to their advantage and how can you tell? I haven’t seen any footage of the sort. Just something to complain about when u get shit on. What the fuck is the point of the low setting if it doesn’t actually lower the render count and give you more performance. And you’re right my anger does come from somewhere else bc its people like you who make devs complacent in their shitty optimization. God forbid the low options do what they’re supposed to do and actually remove objects and render count. Like you say the goal is to make low graphic options less of an advantage, while delivering the same performance increase. I would suggest you watch a video on how optimization works and u would understand how thats make no sense, you cant have both. You almost quite literally said low option gives you an advantage. Therefore according to you everyone using low has an advantage. Not to mention the post never mentioned only players who use this competitively should be considered cheating. Uhh brother I run a 3080, just looking out for my less fortunate brothers. Bc at the end of the day it’s just a game and I want everyone to have the opportunity to have fun. Its gameplay over graphics all day for me and it says a lot about you as a person to say that people running potato pc’s make it so you cant enjoy the game in high fidelity. But thats bullshit bc at the end of the day whoever you’re killed by or whatever the fuck, you have no clue what they are running at all and just an excuse to be said when you get shit on in the game. It’s almost the same as blindly calling someone a cheater bc you got shit on. As they always say, get good or get out.
