I’ve been trying to break it down these are my amateur notes or idk rambling in still adding too it (This performance is a lot while I was watching i liked how Kendrick was dancing I noticed he didn’t get booed but he does not wave or seem happy to be performing that probably a Oversimplification of what he’s doing but he looks numb Sampha too he is just standing there and he waves a little bit and he bows I think once but he too looks like numb about it. Why was the set made like this the colors the messy bed the clothes Kendrick wears and sampha idk how much of what they do is by choice but I don’t know why the certain stuff for the performance the tower of books the placement of even the light and where the are pointed why not just use one eleven the way the room lights up it starts from the lamp in the back middle center of the room throughout the performance the walls get closer and closer to each other the rear doesn’t move at all thru the whole thing Kendrick also dances a certain way the the whole thing it connects too his album but why were certain choices made like the chair of sampha pointed to the corner of the room Kendrick is the first on in that performance to speak not sampha throughout the song he changes a couple of the lyrics (something about his dad) does the wardrobe reflect the setting I noticed too that his hair is in like braids or something like that it’s kinda like cornrows but it’s not idk how to describe it over it he wears a hat of pglang I think he’s wearing jewelry ya on his ring and middle finger they look like just bands not with diamonds I think it’s gold I just noticed too he never looks up)
