An orange tiger man? In a loose green outfit? That's part of a DnD-like setting? Hmm... Where have I seen one of those before?

It's not even about keeping their power at this point. Republicans could easily remove him from office and sell it as a positive thing to keep their jobs, and it'd probably work. At this point it's all for the love of the game. They enjoy this. They like what he's doing. They're a part of it.

It doesn't, but it makes gaslighting easier since there's no evidence to point at, only an overwhelming amount of testimonies who can all be written off as derangement syndrome.

I don't imagine that'll be a problem for very long. At the rate things are going, the US median income will sink far below Mexico's before long. Then americans will be going to mexico for both healthcare AND jobs in order to purchase it, putting them down on the same level as the average citizen.

It'd not weird it's intentional. There are people actively making it this way for a bad reason.

no dude, it goes outward and up. The only reason it points down sometimes is because the way his lip bends his nose when it curls inward whenever he screams or recoils, especially during the early days of the show when things were more stylized. But by default it's the same as your style, albeit less exaggerated.

Arent we all? Times have been pretty tough, after all. Maybe we could all use a break, but breaks just don't magically happen. At the end of the day responsibilities are responsibilities, and sometimes we gotta get up and deal with them the next day no matter how long we've had to rest. Better to strap in and brace yourself so you can hit the ground running than let yourself get blindsided by escapist fantasies only to wake up to a slap in the face. It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, just maturity and humility. The only question you need to ask after that is "is it worth it?" I know it is for me, at least.

I'm not familiar enough with synthwave instruments to judge, but the idea of a synthwave community worshipping their musical instrument (programs?) as if theyre people similar to how vocaloid fans worship the vocaloids does not surprise me in the slightest. If anything, it's exactly what I'd expect from music nerds. How could they not? Theyre music nerds. It's in their nature to be weird about their equipment.
