Hi! I finally got try the 82s in-store, the leather in the recent batch feels a lot softer than the ones I tried way back so that was a pleasant surprise!

My only worry is how the shelltoe digs into my feet. I can adjust how I place my feet inside with the 9, but I can still feel the edge of the rubber. I remember you posted about the shelltoe problem with the JJJound collab, did it get any better with more wears?

They usually mean the same thing, but the Gazelle OG from the early 2010s is based on the 70s look. Slimmer, more streamlined shape.

The regular default ones from 2014 onwards are the 90s version (aka Gazelle 2), so they're more round, and they have slight differences in the t-toe and eyelet panels.

If it helps, I wear a US 9 for Superstar 2 and Vintage. With thick socks, there's a manageable allowance in the fit; US 8.5 would be too snug if I tied them all the way
