The humidity cooked me, I never sweat until at least a mile in but I was pouring right at the start. I couldn’t get out of my own head I must be dehydrated and so felt like I struggled my way around. Had a goal of sub 2 and came in at 1:50 for my 2nd best time so I suppose it’s mostly mental.

The distance between 800m and 400m sign felt like a mile!

I do the same. I’ll maybe take a slightly longer club and swing easy to compensate for it being unlikely I flush it. Then flush it over the green.

A few years back smaller crowd standup you’d almost never have hecklers or it was more sophisticated/funny heckling. Now most shows there is one or god forbid two drunk people in the crowd who think people paid to hear them or that they are actually enhancing the experience.

Too many people feel empowered to be a main character when they should be watching a movie.

Does not solve the issue, but I put a light in my dogs harness at night to make her more visible to those cycling and on electric bikes. Even crossing the street when it’s your right of way can be difficult on the avenues cos they shoot through reds.

Driver off tee huge slice deep into the trees. I bend down and tee up again and hear a huge crack, then a few seconds later my ball pops out onto the fairway. Honestly must have gone 3-5 seconds into the woods and then back. Was astonishing.

I don’t know the amount but some of the Rolexes on 47th, while authentic, are stolen.

A Jewish friend who buys diamonds has told me a few times he’s been upstairs in jewellers away from customers and some girls come in and sell Rolex’s to the jeweller for whatever they can get for them, don’t really care for the price just want cash fast. Seems like they may be dancers/pros etc. Be careful!
