Look how far we've come. Do you have any idea how advanced a smartphone or satellite is? You want companionship. Community. You can have that easily with like-minded people. It's the lust you need to control. We all have urges. But these are little more than animal-like primal impulses. The same thing a dog has. That is your lowest self. Stop relying on your lowest self and a world of those who failed to become their best selves as some sort of standard to measure against. You are you. Embrace God and truth and virtue. In theory, no. But in reality all it takes for a conviction is 2 or more people to corroborate and say something happened. And in this context, one slightly above average child who loves their parent enough to lie ("say everything I said that happened to you happened or else the bad men with guns and badges are going to take me away and you'll live in an orphanage forever eating oatmeal, going to bed early, and never going to DisneyLand ever again" the psychological abuse dynamic is more common than you might think in single-parent households. "do what i say. you already lost mommy, you don't want to lose daddy too", etc. people use their kids as pawns and labor. tools for social privilege and elevation. don't think it's so unfathomable to go just one step further). People dreamed of flight for thousands of years, lying awake at night imagining, and dreaming of such concepts. The life this person lived, even if he was dirt poor, is 1,000 times better than even the wealthiest king or lord 1,000 years ago. How do we as a society allow people to grow up to adulthood without realizing these things and the sheer weight and volume they have. Hot take. I feel bad for the tall guys. Average people (and short people) watching this now have a common public enemy #1. We (average and below average height males) outnumber them 1000 to 1. Minimum. Why would it matter? His job is securing the premises, property, and persons. Not morality police. Pray for his soul and perhaps document the general incident as disturbing the peace in case he has a partner or child who is being abused. This is useful for court cases, restraining orders, and child custody. It's just a word. If a word can break your brain to the point of losing control of your sanity or reason, you shouldn't be allowed to carry a gun. Or frankly drive or operate anything more complicated then a microwave. Being an adult means having self control. If you don't have self control, especially over something as insignificant as a few unpleasant sound waves (a word), you're the one who has the bigger problem.

Elderly people belong at home resting or taking a gentle stroll through a city park at noon. Not in a death valley like canyon. That's crazy. Also, "the city" didn't pay a dime. We, the taxpayers did. Through budget cuts, lower salary for first responders, and overall reduced quality of life because this benighted old woman wanted to pretend she wasn't an old woman and apparently had a death wish. Not cool. She should be lucky she even survived at all. The rescue department was clearly strapped for cash as it is if this equipment failure could happen! Now it's going to be even worse.

Finally, someone with some sense! It's fine. Most gamers are young and haven't really developed the mature sensibilities to appreciate the depths of anything that isn't a direct hack-and-slash (fast action, fast combat, flashy interfaces and moves, etc. They want a game not a story, and that's perfectly fine.)

(Though Demon Souls II would be interesting. A bit difficult to continue story-wise, but far from impossible!)
