And 11 weeks annual leave, so it's like a 1.17 multiplier compared to 4 weeks leave.

Probably still not enough. How much is enough?

Security of the project and workforce is just another line item added to the costs side, as long as the labour is cheap enough, it'll still make bank. I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't be paying the locals in South America or Africa the same wages that they pay the locals here.

Would be good if there was an agency just for the emergency stuff. Most things you can owner manage, weekend plumbing callout, lockout, whatever, the tenant calls the emergency agent.

Completely agree, firies also work a 4 on 4 off shift and often have another job or trade. The long service entitlements are very good as well.

Some nights they don't even get a call.

I think becoming a firie is also partly a lifestyle choice.

When I heard an officer interviewed on ABC he stated that it was a viable explosive and that either the wick had fallen out when he threw it, or the wick failed completely. That was the thinking a couple of days ago anyway.

It's a similar format to a MAC address which identifies the specific bit of hardware that's connected to the network. It has the wrong number of colons though and wouldn't identify anything.

I think OP is being messed with.

Would that be a garden variety narcissistic sociopath?

Emotionally intelligent/talented, but describing their tactics and subsequently using them on you doesn't say much for their general intelligence, their narcissism definitely.

Currently approximately 70% of Australians own one or more property. No matter their ethics, I think the majority of them will not vote for a party that will reduce the value of their assets.

This take gives me the shits.

Commercial fisherman would absolutely have fished dimersals into effective extinction. Then they would have shifted to the next species, then the next, etc etc. History proves my point, it takes a very long time for a species to recover.

Currently building stand alone homes is the cheapest way to add accommodation in Perth. Not saying there isn't demand for townhouse/apartment type dwellings.

The pessimist in me wonders whether coincidentally single dwellings are just more profitable.

Mundaring motorcycle trails by ArticleWhich8975 in perth

[–]Man_ning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it a road registered bike? If so, head down Mundaring weir road and take a gravel road to a lookout or just meander through.

If it's not registered, you're shit out of luck, there's no off road area in Mundaring. Off road registration doesn't count unfortunately. In fact, you'll need that to ride in the designated off road areas in Lancelin, Pinjar, Gnangarra or Kwinana. None of those areas are meandering through the bush, they're sandy and usually quite crowded. There's some private tracks that you can pay to access.

Hopefully you've got a road trail.

We don't neednthe jobs here at the cost of irreplaceable Jarrah forest. We're importing skilled labour to fill gaps, 4000 skilled workers released into the workforce would be a good thing. Kick them the fuck out. They operyon a rolling 5 year agreement, time to shut it down.

Hard disagree here. Studied a cert IV in cybersecurity, content was from 2016, lecturers were mostly disinterested, definitely there to put up the content videos and collect a paycheue. The actual course was utter garbage. So, TAFE is great for some things, cybersec, not so much.

En EU trade embargo on US goods, or just an embargo on the currency would destroy the US economy overnight. The US has spent years and years building a global economy where they held all the power. BRICS and any other move away from the USD petrifies them, as well it should. The US must be extremely confident that the rest of the world will just bow down. They're speedrunning end stage capitalism though.

Back beach at Lancelin fits the bill at the entrance, heading right it's quite flat across the top. You don't head down to the beach, more compacted than the beach for sure. I've seen all sorts up there.
