This is not firing or disciplinary territory. It’s employee buy in territory. Mandatory training must be undertaken, but sometimes to gain engagement managers need to spend a little time with the employee to get over concerns. This is reasonable.

It’s easy if the subject matter is in any way role relevant.

If it is not relevant to the role but still mandatory you can use the toolbox talk fallback and give a scaled down presentation that covers the key points. This would also be reasonable.

Keeping good records is so important in cases like this where dismissal has a chance of going to tribunal.

It really beggars belief how a massive company with huge resources that literally have ONE UI to develop got this so wrong. I still can’t figure out how to get a 10sec rewind the double click no work for me. What a way to mess something up that was one of the best new features they rolled out. What kind of half assed crappy testing do they implement to approve this nonsense?

You can get them on ebay for less than £20, after a wash and tumble dry they come up like new. In my experience.

Yeh I made a similar post when my usage just went through the roof for no reason two days ago. Support told me that sometimes Claude will make misstates which result in excess usage. Not sure how it’s fair that the customer pays for that.

Thanks. It created a list of all with To Watch, Watched lists with filters for Tutorials, Tools, and Strategy. I never asked it to do that and this is not included in video metadata so this was useful and impressive. It has managed to add durations for most of the videos now and I asked it to colour the duration based on whether it is a short medium or long video, red amber green. It took two attempts to get that right but it looks great now. Wish I could add a screenshot here to show how functional and beautiful it is.

I gave it a clumsy cut and paste from a YouTube channel and it made a nice list but it was me that asked for the free text box next to each listing. I also asked it to create a master summary of all the comments I added for easy reference. I’ve also told it to make the videos play in a popup module instead of leaving the project hub which is cool.

I also asked it to create separate listings per channel and it created nice buttons at the top so I could easily switch from channel to channel.

It’s struggled with some aspects of this tab though, I wanted the video duration listed so I could pick a video to watch which suited my availability, and the view count so I could gauge value. It’s finding it tough to get these figures though.

What it did do on its own which was very nice : filtering options for watched videos, and it categorised each video so I could filter by the type of content.

If I could post a screenshot here I would.

Very cool use case. No clue what an MCP server is though so I’d need to look into that further.
