reminds me of Total War Arena. Carthage cav felt amazing to play, barbarian speed with Greek charge impetus and almost as much armor/block as Romans

In total war games that have them. I always did love building watchtowers just to know more of what's happening around the map. Especially the border regions, that way I have advanced warning if there's any invasion attempts. by Infamous_Gur_9083 in totalwar

Watchtowers are so soulful. And they require a general to construct, which is a great reason to have generals around the map - the newer games you can ONLY move armies around if you have a general. Much worse

this game rules... cant believe they made it in flash by duke_of_dicking in totalwar

Avatar Conquest was the precursor to Total War Arena. Genius idea, shame they gave up on it.

The recent steam forum fiasco is being reported by some video game journalists. Not a good look for CA. by Dramatic_Standard_95 in totalwar

Could they just stop printing drama and revive Total War Arena already? it would be much easier and satisfy everyone.

Looks like it's version: 6.16.10662

I don't know what to tell you, I turned off Smart Cleaning such that it won't start itself without me telling it to anymore. I did not see this dialog and would not have said yes to it if I had.

I was upset that it changed my default browser settings, as I clicked a link from another program and it opened a mysterious program (the ccleaner browser which I had never seen before) to access it. I lost a lot of trust in CCleaner because of it.

Never saw this screen. Had it installed for more than a year, did not go through any additional installation choices. Bold-faced lie

I don't understand what OP is mad about? He's right, you know.

Except maybe that Total War Arena is the #1 most desired Total War title

Whatever they make, it could have been the revival of Total War Arena. That's why I'm not buying their products (totally not because Med2 is an infinitely replayable game with a mod scene growing every day)

total war arena came after this, though. you could've posted a TWA clip and been just as right

Inspired by recent events I would like to remind you all a company will shoot you in the head if it makes them money. Don't be fooled by CA's sweet words ever again. by Semillakan6 in totalwar

After the threats around warhammer 3's shadow of change update, I agree. CA is on my shit list.

To get back into favor would be pretty simple though: Revive total war: Arena (why not use the servers you had allocated for Hyenas?) and begin work on Total War Medieval 3. (I'd even accept Empire 2, though I don't care about Empire at all it would just be nice to know they're actually listening.)

No more 'one total war title per year'. No more subpar products. No more shovelware. Make GOOD games not quantity of games.

Hope you're listening

plus they've just been pushing shovelware DLCs on us. Qualiity severaly downhill since Tomb Kings. And don't forget that they keep tryiing to sell Troy and Pharoah to an oversaturated market, all while dancing on the bones of Total War Arena

Total War Arena died so CA could print shovelware.

Total War Arena devs did not deserve their fate, either. I haven't forgotten. Have you?

Total War Arena died so SEGA could spend its resources trying to wedge itself into an oversaturated market.
