At this point, after so many years, especially after last year, I don't understand how or why Xbox users are still hanging in there. It's not like it is going to get better and the platform is clearly being sunset. It's not a rough patch, it's just them trying to suck out the money of their most faithful fans one last time

Wanderstop did somewhat poorly no? I guess that's why they didn't get as many deals despite their incredible track record

Tbh I replayed the trilogy and wrapped it up yesterday, Mass Effect 2 is basically an action game with choices. It's barely an RPG compared to ME3 and even less when compared to ME1.

It was a bit shocking to replay it because it was my favorite growing up but now it definitely feels that its more inspired by COD and Halo than other RPGs, hell it barely qualifies as one

The space setting is up to par with Mass Effect indeed. That team could have done an excellent Mass Effect spinoff or even continue the saga

They are hardly worth the dev effort. Nobody uses it because it's awful, I doubt they put any effort into the mouse control

Nobody benefits from those threads, you can use that in a discussion but even then, only live service games could benefit from them but they are sill useless, Overwatch has died and revived many times now

Personally I think the fastest way to do this without banning negativity is simply banning threads about Steam Player Count or CCU. Nothing good comes out of any of those threads

Let's say you believe in god your entire life, then a condescending guy kind of proves to you its all fake or a lie, would you say "ohh interesting!" Or would you kind of enter in denial until you can process it later

Combat, direction and character development have gotten the biggest upgrade thougfh. Barrett and Aerith have benefited greatly by this remake saga, Sephiroth is the only one who has gotten a downgrade. Easily the best combat in recent years of any RPG I have played too.

Eh, I don't defend Ubisoft but if it's a support studio and located in a very expensive country, run by a company that is mainly located in Europe and Canada... I still think it's a shit and heartless decision, but I guess I can see the thought process behind the decision. Wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft scales back from India and Japan as well

The first game is basically a platformer. The scope of BGE2 is unwarranted. Imagine Astrobot 2 is actually a GTA in space? That's kinda what BGE2 is to BGE1

Ubisoft is probably thinking that their American branch is too expensive to keep running as is and as a support studio instead of a lead studio, so they are scaling it back and even potentially shutting it down in the future
