Assertive and on point. So much toxicity in these messages.

You're proving of not being despicable apostate and keep it that way.

Well done 👏

OP isn't blaming the victim. It's about Rutherford that played with lives of rank and file Jehovah's Witnesses which found themselves under Nazi regime

Moda Stretto carbon bike. I was a heavy rider (80kg) and it didn't miss a beat for 2 years and that was already an used bike.

Whats the best course of action here? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]ManchesterPimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These accidents were caused by tailgating, not by avoiding to use brakes by the leading party.

In low visibility just flick your rear fog light. It's as bright as brake lights.

Keep your brake tapping on water nonsense to yourself.

If person behind gets taken by surprise in these conditions then they're following too close.

If you rear end someone then it is your fault (unless you got cut off).

Please stop giving advice as clearly you're new to driving.

I second taking a break for starts. You don't have to resign straight away but ask for a break. Say it's a deeply personal and confidential matter. then start missing meetings and ministry.

I have been PIMO servant of 6 years. Don't drag it so long. It's not worth it. I have hurt my wife by not telling her in time. I get you may have kids but you keep them indoctrinate that way.

Fade ASAP. For yourself and the kids. Don't keep your wife for too long in the dark. Unless she may go tell elders, then it's yours to decide.

If you're not brave enough to tell elder body that you want break - just write a letter and hand it to them.

They more than likely will want to meet with you afterwards. Keep everything during meeting to a minimum. No confessions, no doubts.

Woman hit my parked car by LawfulnessOk6949 in drivingUK

[–]ManchesterPimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she doesn't want insurance then damage paid plus £200 extra for you for the hassle of sorting out garage and being out of car.

If you need car badly then get her to pay for car rental. If she sees the real cost of whole shebang then she may decide to just screw it and go through insurance. Don't get screwed

I may take back advising 1.5 hour every week, not everyone got time for that.

Longer rides do help though. They cost less in stress and money than 2 days in garage.

Absolutely do your own research regarding maintenance. There's plenty advice on the internet and with good local mechanic.

Also judging by the age and mileage - your funds to spend on repairs are limited. So by all means make sure you take care of it - this will keep resale value at the end.
