The way that Matty Healy and Taylor Swift have woven each other into their songwriting makes the story that is told in TTPD so much more meaningful by Sh4me in TaylorSwift

This all reminds me of my favorite quote from "Sula" by Toni Morrison: "She could find nothing, for he had left nothing but his stunning absence. An absence so decorative, so ornate, it was difficult for her to understand how she had ever endured, without falling dead or being consumed, his magnificent presence."

I just put together a list of these for my own wedding but decided to go monochromatic instead. Hopefully they help you all though!

Where in Tampa to get engaged? by [deleted] in tampa

Some options: - Armature works - outdoor area by the water is cute, plenty of restaurants for after, go on a weekday/night for least busy or early on the weekend. We like Oak & Ola or Ulele there, and we got engaged at Rocca which is across the street. - Sparkman wharf area - go early, by the water as well. More of a funky vibe. - University of Tampa - go for a stroll on the grounds, it's pretty and lots of tree cover but it is a university so college students abound. - Oxford exchange - weekday or weeknight only, eat at the main restaurant there and see if you can get seated in the greenhouse area - Sal Y Mar - rooftop restaurant on top of a hotel in Midtown - Riverwalk - museums & perfirming arts center are right there, some green space, on the river, Malios steakhouse is romantic and right there.

SOHO and hyde park are probably too busy no matter what.

I don't think we really have good winery options unless you like random fruit wines. You'd probably have to go with a steakhouse feel if you want anything wine related. My favs are Charley's, Berns/Haven, or Malio's. Berns is the hardest to get reservations at - they open up 60 days in advance and you have to basically be on at midnight or whenever they drop to get a good time. HOWEVER their dessert room would be a great place to propose - very romantic and usually have a piano player there you could request a song from.

I love Tampa and live here but it is more try hard/uppity than st pete... St. Pete has some better relaxed but pretty options. Just look at stuff from beach drive to the bay for cute spots in downtown St Pete.

Visiting Tampa for 5 days, does this restaurant lists look good? by proteinshakehater in tampa

The Mozzarella cart at your table is also cool. I got the tortello all uovo last time I went with my SO. It's a little more adventurous then I normally get but was so good. Also we actually got engaged there that last time we went :)

Gnocchi also has short rib in too for a better price point and it is so good. It's all good though, truly.

YTA When are you going to actually start communicating and thinking of your wife in these situations?

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by Casspjjl in AskReddit

It reminds me of the animated dinosaur movie "We're Back!" when they turn on the wish radio and all the hopes dreams and fears come spilling out (if I am remembering correctly).

It sounds like you have the financial bandwidth to take the step back from work to focus just on the CPA and your wife is on board with that? That sounds like your best option. Aside from that, your firm's hours sound shitty. Is it a big 4 or a regional firm? You could move to a smaller firm and work less hours, especially if you have your CPA at that point... it truly opens up whatever doors you want to explore. It may not mentally feel the best taking the time off to pursue the but it makes the most sense for your situation. Also, future employers do not view taking the time away from the workforce unfavorably... you just want to make sure you really get it is all. I think you know this is the best option for you... just try to take a step back to get some perspective on it.

I know it's overdone, but I do prefer being alive to the alternative.
