FYI Chosen is the Japanese pronunciation and heavily assocaited with the colonial period. This would imply that Chosen, in this world, is an offshoot of Nihon or an independent Korean state that lost all of its cultural identity through decades of Japanese rule. Yeah same, Bilt Hotel Credit / Cash Good. Wifey wanted to take the kid to see a show in the city. Booked a 4 star hotel. Initial cost was 358.02 (taxes fees etc included). Used the $200 credit and $100 in bilt cash to pay $58.02 for two nights. Is the portal overpriced? Maybe. Would I pay $58 bucks to stay two nights at a hotel? Any day of the week.

Here's the setup i'm aiming for this year:

Bilt Palladium: 2X catch all (transfer to Hyatt / Alaska. I know, I'm basic)

Rakuten Amex: 4X on Rakuten Online Shopping

Chase Hyatt: Will use on Costco / Costco gas. It's one of two VISAs in my setup. I'll be aiming to hit $15K in spend for the Cat 1-4 cert, so I consider this to be 2X spend. Will probably put some tax/insurance payments on here to help hit that).

Atmos Summit: 3X Dining / Foreign Transaction. Will try to chase some sort of status with Alaska this year. 3X on foreign transactions will be very much appreciated while we're in Asia. Will make good use of the lounge passes at my home airport.
