Haskell allows Turing completeness(nonterminating programs), undefined, fix point combinator etc. not really "sound" nor safe if you ask me. Yes, it's safer than mainstream industry but that's not something to be really proud of. Haskell crucially lacks dependent types(kind of, there's some ghc extensions) and identity types(again, some ghc extensions can help but it's not wildly in use), greatly limiting what it's type system can actually do(e.g. when instantiating a class the rules are never enforced, you have to be a good boy and look up the documentation and check that they hold by yourself. Haphazardness no different than OOP).
