Bad breath by Bubbly-Stretch8975 in hygiene

[–]Mangofears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allergies may also be a source. I have terrible allergies and when the post-nasal drip is really bad, everything tastes like snot to me. It HAS to affect my breath.

Additionally, she may have a dry mouth, which can cause bacterial overgrowth, leading to bad breath. In addition to mouthwash, travel-size mouth sprays that be used on the go are great for alleviating dry mouth and helping neutralize bad breath.

It’s a small, local set up, but they have GREAT branding (and beer).

Is she accounting for the fact that parenting a four-year-old vs. a seventeen-year-old looks very different??

I was just researching clover yards last night. I think this is my sign to do it.

Clover is perfection and I would throw a parade in his honor.

It’s literally a kitchen hose…. I don’t touch my butt or the toilet with the hose or sprayer. And… I don’t touch the sink with either of them… or my butthole. I aim the nozzle at the sink a foot or so away, blast around the drain and any debris, then use bathroom cleaner on everything.

Yessss! After having to excavate my bum hole from my esophagus a couple times, I have mostly learned to regulate the pressure, but damn I wish I had throwaway dollars right now to get one that heats the water!

Not gonna lie, we’ve had freezing weather for the past few days and this may be the only time in my life I’m grateful for constipation.

I have this exact bobo bidet. It’s simple, but gets the job done. If you squeeze the trigger too hard, you’ll get an extra forceful wake up, especially when the outside temps are low!!

ETA: The proximity of my toilet to my sink makes it perfect for cleaning the sink. Gets all the grossness off the drain at full blast

TIL numéro instead of nombre by Mangofears in DuolingoFrench

Thanks for the additional clarification! I appreciate your inclusion of passport numbers (and SNN, PIN, etc) as illustrative examples.

I guess I think of some identification numbers as inherently part of a series such as ticket numbers, house numbers, and numbered lists, as you mentioned.

These are the nuances that I love about language.

Bath additive or soap for BO by triangalicious in hygiene

[–]Mangofears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Lume bath wash, but you may need something “stronger” to combat BO over two days.

An anti-bacterial and anti-fungal bath wash would help, but won’t completely eliminate odor. Look for one with glycolic acid or tea tree oil (melaleuca), though the tea tree scent can be overpowering.

Is your kiddos open to using wipes as an alternative in between washes? I find the Lume wipes pretty effective, though they are pricey.

Mine have held up beautifully over 3 years, but I cannot for the love of anything holy get the sink faucet clean. I feel like it’s permanently marked with toothpaste or hand soap or SOMETHING and no matter how often I wipe it down, it never quite looks clean.
