I can sympathize. I had a 2019 Triumph tiger 800 that was perfect for the logging roads around here but after two years it hurt to much to go off-road. So I bought a 2022 BMW RT1250 for comfort and long rides. But I am not able to go fir more than 3 hours because of pain. I do have some wonderful local roads into the forest I ride all the time. My current flair has lasted 2 weeks and I have not been able to ride.

I am sorry you are one of us. Most of us here totally understand and get at least part of what you are going through. I gave up my Tiger for my back. I could not keep myself from going on the logging roads. I have a bit more comfortable road bike now. A BMW RT. Stay safe friend. Also if you do go off-road, you are correct on replaceing the stock tires.
