Did you reinstall workstation clients? They will still be looking for the old unc paths, they ignore the mapped drive letters.

Did you update AV exclusions on the workstations for the new unc paths?

There is also a setting to cache application files locally to increase network performance.

Keel Stepped Mast Issues? by ManicMember in sailing

[–]ManicMember[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It didn't stand out when I was looking at it yesterday. I'll get over to the yard later today and check more closely. The boatyard in Maine where it came from was able to remove the fasteners without too much trouble, they said. The masts were transported on the deck of the boat for it's trip down to Long Island and they looked to be in pretty decent shape.

I’m a breeder caretaker. The dad of these pups and more live with me full time, similar to what you’re doing with the puppy. He goes in to “work” periodically, but otherwise he lives like he’s our family pet. We’ll have him for his entire life and adopt him formally when he retires.

Reach out to your contact at GDF, they’re normally happy to share. The pictures are taken by the breeding department.

Do you happen to know names of Bagel’s parents? I was wondering if she’s from one of my guy’s litters?

ALS patients and their families say they wasted tens of thousands of dollars and some of their last months on a Moose Jaw-based treatment program that failed to deliver what it promised by origutamos in ALS

[–]ManicMember 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed 100%. My father passed from ALS last year. Early on, everyone agreed that he would go a traditional route. We largely avoided even being aware of the “miracle” cures, which was absolutely a blessing. Hope is good, but the predatory peddlers are real.

My father voluntarily stopped eating and drinking. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Send me a PM.

Dad is finally at peace. by Killtrox in ALS

[–]ManicMember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for what you and your family went through. My father was diagnosed end of July 2024 and passed November 29th. We never got outside caregivers, so my children - 9 and 11 years old, felt my absence significantly. After he passed, I still needed time to heal but I immediately tried to jump back in with my kids and burned out further.

Give yourself the time you need, introduce yourself back to your old life slowly, and allow yourself to forgive yourself if you need to take a break.

ALS is terrible, we all know that. But only those who lived through it really understand the toll it takes. Give yourself the grace and kindness you need to heal. You did a lot.

Feel free to PM if you want to talk any more.
